We absolutely loved our time here and wish it was a longer stay. The cabin was spotless and comfortable and the fully equipped kitchen made dinners a breeze. It was conveniently located near our planned hikes in Shenandoah National Park and was a welcome place to come back to for resting. The peace and stillness we felt here was priceless. We will definitely try to book here again on our next hiking trip.

We loved our time here! So quiet and peaceful. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and everything was so clean! We’d love to stay again. The dogs loved the yard!

A great property for a retreat in the country. Close enough to enjoy the up and coming small town of Sperryville, yet removed enough to lather in the peaceful tranquility of nature.

Our host was very welcoming and responsive to our requests and the cabin was in a beautiful location, in very good condition and was extremely well equipped all of which contributed to an extremely enjoyable stay!

It was amazing—so much better than we expected. The space and location were perfect. My kids absolutely loved the tire swing and having so much room to run and play. Listening to the creek and the rain tapping on the windows at night was so peaceful. It felt like home, and we truly loved our stay.

We had a great time at Hazel River cabin. The cabin was clean and well equipped for our stay. We were there for a couple hikes in Shenandoah NP and it was the perfect place to come back and feel relaxed.

Property was great, clean, and roomy. I would just point out that the property is not close to many dinner options. After hiking all day going back to the cabin to shower meant few dinner options without a long drive. I would suggest better planning for cooking at the cabin which we had wished we had done. Otherwise we enjoyed our time there and really liked the location.

House was as advertised though a bit further off the road then I expected resulting in a very quiet secluded stay. It was pet friendly which was great though hardwood floors so you have to be careful. The house had every amenity for the most part you could need. The Host communication was easy, and timely, extremely responsive and amenable to check in check out time flexibility.

Wonderful location, property, and house with lots of fun features! Perfect for visiting the nearby town which had good food and drinks, and was perfect for getting to the old rag trailhead early in the morning. Loved the property which had cool things like the firepit and shelter house. Loved the house with the giant tub and outdoor seating. 10:10 would stay again.

Our stay at Cardnal Hill Cabin was so lovely. Great house, clean and updated. Nice kitchen. Big fireplace. And so close to trails right into the park. Kelsey was accommodating and responded quickly when we had a question. We hope to find ourselves back there soon! Highly recommend this home for your next get-away!

The six of us were utterly delighted with this home! As others have mentioned, it is secluded which for us was a plus. Bird watching was excellent and the night stars were so bright. The house itself was immaculate, laid out very efficiently, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was very well-stocked. The closest "grocery" store was the Sperryville Corner Store which was rather pricey, so we were glad that we had decided in advance to pack the food and snacks we needed for breakfast, hiking and cooking a couple of dinners. Lots of space to store any food you decide to bring. We also grabbed a few extra items when we were in Luray for a visit to the caverns. Rappahannock Pizza kitchen and Black Twig were great close options. The Walker Bakeshop is a MUST as are Quievremont and Blue Quartz wineries. Copper Fox was also quite fun. I should add that the beds are very comfy too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND/I would definitely stay here again!

We were a small group of friends catching up over a reunion weekend. The house was perfect for us- clean, spacious, and with a very well stocked kitchen! Even better than the photos.The area and property itself are lovely, very quiet and peaceful. We even saw some deer walk by the dining room windows! We enjoyed the board games and the screened porch as well. Great communication with the host and an easy check-in/check-out. We are already hoping to stay again next year!

Everything went exactly as it was drawn up. Kelsey was a wonderful host, who was very responsive and informative. The property was a gem in a remote location, exactly how I like it. The location and proximity to the Shenendoah National Forest, specifically Old Rag Mountain, is why I chose this cabin, and it was perfect. We could walk to Broad Hollow and Pine Gap Loop, the rest we drove to. Lots of beautiful trees on the property, and a plethora of birds to watch. Had one deer walk into the yard one evening, and saw a few rabbits hopping about. I would 10/10 come back here. Thanks for everything, Kelsey! It was exactly as it was described.
