Just a Horrible Experience
We stayed at this property from Jan. 20 to 23/18. Upon arrival we were greeted by Norma(housekeeper) who was lovely and had cooked us a delicious arrival meal. This was our only positive experience while staying at this property. It didn't take us long to notice that the pictures posted were not at all like the reality. First of all the house was completely and utterly filthy throughout. We had to clean the bathrooms once we got settled in order to use them. After a very long day of travelling we were stunned to realize that there was no water to shower at all. For the 3 day stay the most water we saw was a trickle. We called the owner about this on the first night and was told that "he had no control over the water pressure." Next thing we noticed was the pool and the grounds. There was no landscaping and all the plants and flowers shown on the pictures were dead. The pool was only half filled with water, completely dirty and unusable. We had booked this property mainly for the pool so to say we were disappointed was an understatement. This ad also lists many amenities that the house does not have. First of all AC, which is limited to only the bedrooms and the AC in one of those bedrooms did not work. It also lists a washer, dishwasher, internet, & fitness room....all of which is not there. Other things that contributed to our horrible trip were, the microwave did not work, the outdoor grill which we wanted to use was so dirty it was unusable & the Kitchen itself was filthy dirty. It was a horrible trip for us, one that we would not like anyone else to ever experience. We were just glad it was a short trip and not a longer vacation. Once we returned home we reached out to the owner a few times by email to discuss our time at the property and to date all of those emails remain unanswered. Please don't waste your money and vacation days at this property!
