Super cute property! Everything was clean and new. We loved the location and the views are breathtaking. The loft is super cute but definitely for small children. The kitchen had basic essentials and a huge selection of spices. Our biggest complaint was having to remove the trash from the property upon checkout and drive it out of the way to a transfer station.

Because Moose Pass does not provide residential trash service, guests currently need to use the local transfer station, but we understand that this can be inconvenient and continue to consider ways to make checkout easier. We are looking into a dumpster rental for next year!

Our stay at the property was nothing short of awesome! I have to admit, we were a little nervous, since we were one of the first guests to book a reservation since the property was recently remodeled and there there were only a few reviews. The property far exceeded our expectations. The location in Moose Pass was a great home base for our exploration of Alaska's amazing Kenai Peninsula. The home was beautifully remodeled and was likely the best stocked VRBO we have ever visited. We had a problem with the lock on the front door on the first day, but the owner was quick to respond and we worked out a way to solve the problem. We have stayed at many VRBO's over the years, but the communication and responsiveness of this owner as at the top of the list.

This house is by far the most modern and nicest house in moose pass!! We loved it!! The only thing that we would want different if we came back would be that we didn't have to take the garbage with us But overall this house was epic!!

I grew up here, surrounded by friends who are still like family and nature that still takes my breath away. The house sits right in the heart of town, just steps from Trail Lake and the Alaska Railroad tracks, with floatplanes coming and going on sunny days. It’s a place where history, community, and adventure all come together. What I enjoy most is the quiet beauty of the mountains, the sounds of trains and planes marking the rhythm of the day, and the sense of connection to a truly unique slice of Alaska.
