The place is lovely. To keep it from getting too hot, leave the windows open. The host is responsive to communication. It is walking distance to most all of antigua. I would stay there again!

The good points: close proximity to central areas; the kitchen and utensils and crockery are good; the hosts especially Theresa was very responsive and there was good communication. The not so good: the listing makes the property look bigger and brighter than it is. The bed even though listed as queen is most certainly not and is more a double, and isn’t a very comfortable mattress. The listing had one review of 10 out of 10 which is misleading.Overall, we would still recommend this place as long as you know what to expect and coming for a shorter stay than ours which was ten days long.

We fell in love with this neighborhood because it offers the best of both worlds: it’s still part of Antigua’s historic center, yet quiet, safe, and peaceful. Unlike the busier parts of town, this area allows you to relax and recharge while being only a 10-minute walk from Central Park (Parque Central).

You’ll find everything you need nearby — from local tiendas and cozy cafés to great restaurants and historic landmarks like Iglesia Escuela de Cristo and the Hermano Pedro museum. For us, it’s the perfect location to enjoy Antigua’s charm without the hustle and bustle.
