Lovely cottage

Cottage was very well located, with a fantastic waterfront outlook. The external frontage of the property looked liked it had recently been done and was better than indicated in the photos.It looks like the perfect seaside residence and the external decor is very much in keeping with the age of the property.It is very spacious and there is plenty of local info provided. The owner was very easy to contact, though contact was rarely required.

Location for the win!!

The location of this property could not be any better! We basically had our own personal reef with excellent snorkeling right behind the house. The screened in porch/eating area was lovely and the back deck was awesome. The lounge chairs were really great for sitting out on the beach. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maria's home. Thank you Maria!

Beautiful Property and Location!

My family had a wonderful time at Maria's property on the Northside. The snorkeling in front of the house was fantastic and we only saw 2 other people on "our" reef and beach the whole week! Maria is a wonderful host!

Great place!

Wow, we felt so welcomed by Maria. Also, this side of the island is so much quiter/ less busy than the 7 mile area. need a car for sure - but with a car, you can see everything on the whole island. we would stay here again for sure.

Great place

Great location on the quieter side of the Island. Awesome deck and sunroom. Solid snorkeling right there and a great place to look for shells. Maria was a delight to deal with. Loved it!

Family Vacation

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. We enjoyed eating out on the screened in porch and sipping coffee on the deck every morning. The kids loved playing in the sand and our family saw some beautiful fish snorkeling. Maria was such a lovely host. We are so grateful for the wonderful memories made on this family vacation!

Christmas in Grand Cayman

Beautiful & comfortable home in a gorgeous location away from the crowds, yet close enough to enjoy many of the islands activities. Maria was so kind and thought of lots of special touches to make our stay enjoyable. The ocean views were spectacular. Highly recommend!!

Loved the house and the north side of the Cayman Islands

Great house in a beautiful setting. We were able to kayak and snorkel easily from the property, and loved the private beach with hammocks, decks and a screened in porch. We’ve stayed at 7 mile beach in the past and preferred the quiet, snorkeling and sites- starfish beach- of this area. The house was great for our family of 6- clean and very comfortable. Would stay again!!

Ideal place for my family

Maria is a great host! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the rental! I could just sit on one of the outside spaces and watch the sun and water! Watching the sunset nightly was the highlight of my day ☀️

Another amazing trip

This was our 2nd trip to this amazing home. The house is perfect, private and very quiet. The private beach is amazing with snorkeling and water sports. Maria is very accommodating and responsive. Thank you for another great week and cant wait to come back.

Awesome house

It was awesome to escape the hustle and bustle of the developed south part of the island. Car required, but absolutely worth it. Snorkeling in the morning, beach during the day, and drinks on the deck to watch sunset. Amazing! Highly recommend!

Secluded getaway

This is the quiet side of the island, great for a peaceful and mellow time. The property is very large and there's a lot of space and privacy. Cute house has a wonderful screened porch with the prevailing breeze blowing through. Host is charming and lives nearby, was very helpful. Loved it!

I've stayed at a ton of rentals, not only is this place great but Maria is awesome. The true test of a host is when an issue occurs. Maria took care of everything quickly and communicated throughout. If this listing is on your list grab it.

Wonderful trip

This property was wonderful. There were 3 of us so we each had a bedroom. The location was off the beaten path, but that was our desire. It was quiet and we rarely saw others around our little bit of paradise.nThe house was great and had everything you would need and then some. The extras were super helpful, beach towels, water shoes, snorkel gear, etc. Pick this house and you will not go wrong. We will be back!

My husband and 1 with 3 small children moved to this island in March1978. We instantly recognized it was a heavenly place to live and raise our kids, and it has been a very gratifying experience over the years. We were welcomed with open arms and assisted in every way by the community. We had a wonderful life with the kids growing up in a safe and friendly environment, and meeting all the wonderful people who reside in the area.
Being a Real Estate Broker for 26 years I enjoy meeting people and sharing my knowledge of Cayman with my guests in every way I can to make their stay a fulfilling experience. Living only 5 minutes away from the property, makes it so convenient to always be available.

This property is a true Gem and a dream come true for me and the family. It was a property I admired every time I drove by for many years, knowing in my heart it was perfect in so many ways. WELL I wasted no time, I moved forward in acquiring the property in 2004 from a delightful elderly couple who shared their special love and life here in Cayman, she was an artist loved by all in North Side and Cayman Kai, and he an Engineer who actually built the home back in 1984, we became instant friends. It was a dream come true and a gift from Heaven. After many months of renovations and changes to the property, including planting the garden, I was totally pleased with the beauty that was created, and I wanted nothing more but to share this lovely property with friends, family and all the wonderful guests that I am so looking forward to meeting and having them share a home filled with love and all the necessities to make it truly a home away from home...

One of the many benefits of this home is that it is elevated 16ft above sea level, so the incredible views of the Ocean from every room allows one to have the peace of mind of privacy. Having only one neighbor, who visits occasionally , creates the freedom for one to enjoy their vacation to the fullest without disturbing anyone. Sitting on 185" of white sandy beach creates vast space for kids and family to find incredible treasure and lots of shells, to enjoy many of the relaxing areas this property provides , be it swinging in a hammock in the small garden with a good book, relaxing on the large deck with their favorite drink inhaling the beautiful scenery or relaxing on the beach catching the rays.
A Government designated Marine Park filled with exquisite coral and sea life is steps away, where one can enjoy the beautiful underwater sceneries without the disturbance of boats or jet skies. If weather permits enjoy a little exercise with the kayaks or one of the outdoor games provided .
The location of this property is also unique in that it is minutes away from Cayman Kai, Kaibo and Queens Highway so it gives one a great choice of restaurants, beaches and other activities in the general area.
Lastly having a Grocery that provides a great assortment of food and liquor within 2 minutes walking distance of the property is a great convenience.
This property creates a wonderful island feel for all who chooses to come to create new experiences during their stay on this beautiful serene part of the island.
