Absolutely loved the property. Ground level was very convenient with having small children. The condo was more spacious than what we were expecting and had everything we needed. Highly recommend this condo.

Condo 103

So we liked the location and size of the place but after the first night of our daughter sleeping on the bottom bunk we noticed something on the comforter. We pulled it back and there was stained blood on it. We took it off immediately couldn’t tell if it had been washed but either way, super gross and we feel like some sort of small refund would be appropriate for compensation. Also the towels and some of the pillows are super old and dingy. Beds are very uncomfortable.

Great Spot

Location was great, condo was easy access to pool and beach. The unit had everything we needed for our stay and was very clean. Will be visiting again!

Good stay but room for improvement

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our room at the Inn was clean, accommodated our needs, and had a great beach!The negatives: I did not receive the room code but the security guard was able to get it. They provide 2 rolls of TP, 1 roll of paper towels, small amounts of dish soap, hand soap and laundry detergent. It would’ve been better to provide enough for the week. The master bedroom sliding door did not slide properly and would not open. As it turns out, it also did not lock, so I was thankful it was not in working order. Both of which need to be fixed. This particular unit doesn’t have a view of the beach but that is clearly pictured. There is a long walk to the beach because the building sits back so far. About half the walk is on a boardwalk and the rest is through sand. One day, the sand was too hot to walk on barefoot so I suggest carrying your shoes with you in case it gets hot while you are sitting at the beach. We were able to login to our streaming services on the TVs in the master and living rooms. But not the kids’ room. However our Netflix account wouldn’t recognize what I know to be our correct login. There is a bar-height table on the patio but the chairs need to be replaced- it’s still nice to sit out there. Ideally, they would have a couple regular height chairs too. The positives: this unit has 3 individual beds which worked well for the 3 adult kids in our party. The pools are a good size and refreshing when you don’t want to walk out to the beach or get sandy. There is a sandbar that really protects the water in front of the Inn. It makes for calmer waters and a great place to sit or play. You can always go out further for better waves. The unit has books, a decent DVD collection and player, some games, and some seasonings. There was enough seating for our party in the living room and dining table. The AC worked well and having a washer/dryer is great.Overall it was a good stay with room for improvement. I would stay here aga

Best Beach Location

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Inn is our favorite condo rental on the Island. The view is stunning. My girls love the heated pool. No matter what time of year we go they are in the pool. Unit 103 is their favorite so far but we’ve had great experiences with every room. All of the condo units are spacious, clean and comfortable. We go to Dauphin Island so much now we’re hoping to make it home. We love the Island restaurants but the seafood favorite is Captain Snappers. Beach walls are the best. Swimming is best right straight out your door but for seashells head to West End Beach. You can literally walk for miles along the coast or along the bay. The Bird Sanctuary is an area everyone must walk. There are so many trails through the forest and several take you out to the beach. The boardwalk out in the lake is a favorite and we see alligator almost every time. The Island and the Inn are quiet and relaxing with a few souvenir shops but if you need a day of shopping take the ferry over to Gulf Shores. It leaves the Island several times a day. The ride is about 30 minutes and sometimes you see dolphins. The management at the Inn are the best! If you need anything at all they will do their best.

Last minute spring break

Condo was comfortable, clean, and in a fabulous location. Can’t think of anything we would change about it. Teen girls were excited about our stay there and hope we go back.

This was our third time to stay at this property. It's cute, clean, and steps away from the pool and beach. There are a couple places for food and treats within walking distance as well. We were pleasantly surprised that the boardwalk had been extended!

Relaxing Beach Trip

We enjoyed our 3rd trip to DI. We normally stayed in a different unit, but tried this one. We were pleased with the finer upgrades (lighting fixtures, counters, appliances) throughout this condo unit. So close to the pool and you can even see a slice of the water from this first floor unit!

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay! Everyone around was polite. Even though we were right outside of the pool, it was never rowdy or loud. Everything was clean and accurate to the picture. The kitchen is a little lacking but doable.

Great room for the price

The only negative I have on this property is the master bed was really firm and it bothered my back. The room was fully stocked with dishes and towels and clean when I arrived

Perfect place for family

We absolutely loved this condo. Location was great. The kids loved the pool. We always drive over and spend the day to save money. This was our first time staying on the island, and we will be back to stay at this condo as soon as we can.

Great location! Very relaxing.

This was a nice rental. My husband and I and our three kids stayed here. I can say honestly that the only frustration was not knowing that the complex is gated with a code that we didn’t have when we arrived -after hours. I couldn’t get ahold of the property management so I had to call VRBO. We luckily got it quickly. Getting my key to the room was easy because they had the directions on the desk in the front office. The place was mostly clean. It really needs a top to bottom cleaning. It looked just like the photos. It gave you just the bare minimum of the necessary items -2 rolls of TP, 1 paper towel, 2-dishwasher soap, 2 washer detergent, small container of dish soap. They didn’t have any kitchen wash cloths or any scrubbies. The pots and pans and utensils were in good supply. The tvs were helpful (1in each bedroom and 1 in living. We were on the bottom floor(103) and right by the 1 heated pool-1 is not heated. My kids loved it and it was so convenient right by our room with a gate out to it. We met some really nice regulars that gave us Michiganders grace when we let our kids in the pool before pool opening time. (Hour time difference) They did give us great areas, not advertised, to go check out. We even spent one day in Gulf shores and ate at LuLu’s restaurant.(AMAZING) The ferry was great and quick and we drove back which is a shorter than expected trip with some cool sights! The ocean was nice but a little too murky for my family to enjoy and there was alot of dead Red Fish washed in, (unknown fish kill we were told)but it didn’t deter us enough not to enjoy some grilled Red Fish at LuLu’s restaurant. Overall this Island is a great place to relax. It’s not overly busy which is amazing and there are some busier places not too far away if you’re needing more hustle and bustle.

GREAT PLACE FOR KIDS

The heated pool is right outside the door with direct access from this unit so you can see your kids while you sit on the deck and watch the sunset. Very clean. Easy walk to beach. Restaurant Across the road from property. From towels to beach toys everything you need for a vacation is provided with this unit. Quiet area. Clean Beach.

Great Location for Birding

Reviewer Comments: Property location was a plus for birding on the gulf-side beach and was also a short drive to other locations on the island and in neighboring communities. The condo itself could use come deep cleaning. maintenance and upgrades. For example, all large appliances were noisy, kitchen faucet leaked, patio slider screen was off the track, and there was visible dirt in corners on the floors. None of these needed immediate attention during our stay so we left a list for staff upon our departure. We also did not interact much with staff, but everyone we did talk with onsite was super friendly and helpful.

Even though it’s ground level you can still see the gulf, and the pool is only a few steps away from your gate. I personally think that this unit lacked basic cleaning. If it were cleaner I’d say it’s a perfect place to stay! Staff is amazing!
