The Turtles Nest, West is a renovated and modern beachfront, 1 bedroom, 1 & 1/2 half bath condo located on the 2nd floor at The Inn at Dauphin Island, over looking 2 swimmings pools & The Gulf of Mexico.
🌴 King-size bed
🌴2 twin bunks
🌴4 person sofa.
🌴Seating for 4 at the bar, along with updated décor throughout the unit, makes this the perfect place for couples, a small family, or a group of friends.
🌴Balcony overlooks both pools & has an unobstructed view of the Gulf.
🌴We provide all your linens and towels, Wi-Fi, and a fully stocked kitchen (just bring the groceries).
🌴You'll get a starter pack of paper goods, soaps, and trash bags, but go ahead and plan to bring more for extended stays.

No expense has been spared for this clean, convenient, & comfortable vacation stay. A security deposit and rental agreement are required with this property as well as a cleaning fee. The security deposit will be a pre-authorization placed on your credit card that you will provide when filling out the rental agreement.

Was very pleased with the Condo. It was spacious and exceptionally clean and was stocked with all the essentials! Host was easy to contact and very helpful with details. Would definitely recommend!

This stay was a breath of fresh air. Prior to our arrival, Jennifer was very communicative, and made sure we were well-informed on expectations and check-in processes. The room itself was fantastic, with a great view of the Gulf of Mexico, and private access to a beautiful beach. The unit was outfitted with everything to make our stay perfect! It was a short walk from the unit to the local bar/eatery Pirate's Pizza and Wings that had delicious pizza and made the perfect cocktails. Overall, I highly recommend staying here; I DEFINITELY will be back!

Perfect Stay!

The rental was clean and was very comfortable. We liked that it was quiet and peaceful. We did lots of walking on the beach which was easy to get to as there was a walkway from our place. The pool was so nice and warm for me, but they also had a cooler temp pool right next to it for those who want it a bit colder. We rented E bikes and toured the entire island. We also had some good meals within walking distance. It was a great vacation!

This is a great place to stay. It is second floor so you can see the ocean. It was clean and quiet. There are retirees that live there so they want you to be quiet. The only thing I would recommend is a chair in the living room. The couch is the only place to sit. We ended up bringing an outside chair in while we were there.

It was the perfect get away! This place is very clean and aesthetically decorated. Check in/out process was easy. Walk to beach is easy. It was my first time to Daphin island. Me and my two daughters went for a quick two night stay. Dauphin island is great. I would advise to stop in Mobile for grocery’s and such before you head to the island. There are limited options I. The island and higher cost. I would def go back. It is nice and chill!

Perfect Place for a Beautiful Beach Stay

This condo was the perfect size for my small family! It had everything we needed along with a great view of the beach and access. I loved the decor and how clean it was! The host was very helpful and recommended things right away to make our visit even better. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall a very nice condo and just the right size for a couple. It is more of a hike to the shoreline than I expected, though. Communication with our host was great and with her blessing, we were able to check in a little early. A good but too short stay.

Great location. The room was clean, classy, and very comfortable. The facility was well-kept and conveniently close to everything. Beach access was just steps outside the door, which made the stay even better. The owner/operator was easy to work with, and everything was handled smoothly—our expectations were met and even exceeded.

Great November Getaway 4 Us!

We wrapped up our stay at Turtles Nest, West today and have really enjoyed our time in Alabama! Jennifer is a great host, and this unit is laid out and decorated perfectly for an ocean get away.

This place was beautiful and immaculately clean. Loved how peaceful and quiet it was. The amenities were ample as far as cooking was concerned and the apartment was very well maintained. We hope to come back next summer for a longer amount of time!

The property was very clean, and very comfortable. I would recommend to others. I think the host did a good job with all of my wants/needs prior to getting there. Once on the property just a few hours after I arrived, I had one minor issue with the main TV. I was unable to access the satellite service, and I don’t feel like my needs were taken seriously. Only hours prior to leaving was I able to finally fix the problem myself. The host responded but I didn’t feel my problem was handled appropriately. There was bad weather the weekend I was there, I was traveling alone, and I was stuck in the bedroom for most of the time I was there because the only TV with satellite access was in the bedroom.

Hi Mona, we are so glad you found the property clean and comfortable. I am sorry that the weather was bad and raining, I wish I could control that. That would be an amazing superpower if I could! As far as the TV, my response time was almost immediate! You messaged at 6:33 pm, and I responded at 6:37 pm, after you told me how unacceptable it was that one of the two TVs was not connecting to DirecTV. For 2 hours, I went back and forth with you, trying to figure out what was going on with the final verdict being an operator error. I think a hotel would suit your needs better than a barrier island.
