The property is spacious, nice big kitchen and it is very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. It’s a beautiful house and it would be nice to stay there for longer than a weekend.
Love the location of this property! So quiet and peaceful. Clean, comfortable accommodation. The owner is very responsive. Weather could have been better, lol! Would recommend this property!
We had a lovely stay. Our host was very responsive The space was very roomy and well equipped (particularly the kitchen!) so great for a group of people. If travelling with anyone with a mobility issue or elderly the stairs to the second level bedrooms are steep and narrow. I would also recommend bringing your own beach chairs. Great spot!
We spent Thanksgiving at this beautiful property. It was so quiet and peaceful... we didn't want to leave! You could listen to waves from the beach across the road.
The check in process was so easy.
Would absolutely recommend this property!

1 of my aunt's turned 100 years. Born in Liverpool NS and lots of relatives still in area. (South Shore) Hunt's Point is a middle point for most relatives! Excellent venue for our stay!
Great location for enjoying the beautiful beaches of the South Shore, as well as the towns of Liverpool and Lunenburg. The people of Nova Scotia were so welcoming and friendly. We loved the White Point Inn, as well as the Quarterdeck Restaurant- all nearby. House had everything we needed, and we really enjoyed the spacious deck. My only suggestion would be to remove the umbrella base from the deck, as we inquired about the missing umbrella, and was told it was broken.. We would highly recommend staying at this property.
Good location for exploring several different areas of NS. Cottage is large with 3 full sized bedrooms, 2 baths, full sized kitchen, nice living space and deck. It’s quite an old house that has been added on to over the years. There’s some wear and tear on the property that could be addressed but overall it was a very nice cottage. Very nice beach just across and down the road here we enjoyed walking and swimming. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
Sadly, the images in the advertising are not aligned with what you see when you arrive at the location. I suggest the owners of the property to do an unannounced visit for being able to assess the maintenance of their location. We made the decision to shorten our stay and the owner agreed to reimburse proportionally the prepaid amount which was honest and fair.
Beautiful location - nicely renovated- only upgrade needed would be blinds. Much needed on hot days downstairs as there is no heat pump for air conditioning and paper blinds upstairs don’t keep out much light. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our week. Lots of room, nice kitchen, big bathrooms and access to beautiful beaches- Hunts Point, Sommerville and Carter’s and only minutes from Liverpool.

Buyer beware!
This is a two story property with a steep and low ceiling stairway. All bedrooms and one bath are upstairs.
The smoke alarms have been removed
The water supply is low so showers MUST be limited.
Laundry must be done at the laundromat in town,
Parking is alright BUT you must back onto highway just below the crest of a hill to exit the property.
The unit was clean but had very strong fish smell . As a result, my wife was very uncomfortable and decided yo move out after 3 days once we found alternate accommodations. Kitchen cabinets were cluttered and dishes were not clean. New towels are recommended.
The unit was spacious. The listing should mention limitation on water usage.
It was a great time with golf and seafood at local restaurants and driving around the south shore area. The house was as described, clean and neat along with being well equipped. We enjoyed the stay and wished it could have been longer.
We were very pleased with our stay and loved the access to the beach across the road. The sand is so beautiful and silver, I hadn't realized that little gem existed. The home was clean and as shown in pictures. Thank you
Pleasant cozy house across the street from the ocean
House is as advertised/as shown in the photos. Three bedrooms up, a good kitchen, a bright and welcoming open dining and living room area, and big deck looking toward the ocean. House is very well-kept. We arrived at 9pm on a Nov evening to find the house at 11 celsius - when we went to bed at 11 it was still quite cold so our first night was not comfortable. But after that, the house was warm and all was fine. The location was great. Perhaps a 50 metre walk to the public access to the beach, and also to the Hunts Point Market which has fresh bread, gourmet sandwiches, etc.
This 3 bedroom home was exactly as described on vrbo nice quiet place to stay right across the street from hunts beach. Small cafe just down the road Less than 100 yards walk towards hunts beach. Communication was good with the owner and everything was expected. I would recommend this place and will book here for future trips

This is a family owned home. My husband and I live in Toronto, Ontario Canada with our daughter. We like the outdoors, beaches, skiing, barbecues, cooking and cocktail hour.
Why they chose this property
In the summer of 2016 my family and I visited Summerville Beach and instantly fell in love with the area. The beach is stunning, there is great food near by and the weather is beautiful and warmer than other parts of Nova Scotia. We looked into renting a home the following summer but it seemed that the rental market was scarce. We then started to look for houses to buy so to always have a place to call home in the South Shore. This house immediately stood out based on it location and that it was newly renovated. We spent three weeks there in the summer of 2017 with friends and family coming and going and absolutely loved it. I hope that guests also love it and this will be a place that people want to come back to.
What makes this property unique
There is a beach across the street, need we say more! The close proximity to Liverpool is very attractive for buying groceries, seafood, wine or dining out. There are also many surfing spots along the coast.
