Wonderful place to stay. We come to MN every year and always stay here. If you come in the summer and have young children, this location is great, right across from a large park with a wading pool and play ground.

The house was AMAZING! Even though there was an amazing tv/entertainment center in a very cozy downstairs living room, we spent our time visiting upstairs on the couches. The kitchen was enviable with professional looking appliances, but we never used them as we preferred food delivery services for this trip. The beds were extremely comfortable. The steam shower in the basement was an extra treat! The house is in a quiet neighborhood and not once did I feel unsafe. It was fun seeing the squirrels running back and forth across the street looking for bundles to store away. The location was perfect for easy access to multiple road arteries to get to other places in the city. The hosts were top notch. Very responsive. I appreciated them wanting to know the "why" behind the stay and the questions they asked about who was staying. I would want to know the same. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect stay

The home was perfect for what we needed! The two living areas were great to be able to have separate spaces. The kitchen was great and the basement was a perfect hangout. Happy with the location with stores minutes away and easy access to the highway. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay!

This VRBO was spotless from top to bottom, with every corner carefully cleaned and well-maintained. Our host Joe was exceptional—thoughtful, communicative, and genuinely welcoming. They made sure we had everything we needed and were always available for questions or recommendations. It’s clear they put a lot of care into ensuring guests have the best possible experience. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-hosted getaway!

A great home base

The home was a great home base for family coming from across the country to enjoy Thanksgiving and explore the twin cities. The owner, Joe, was great to communicate with and answered all our questions.

Used it mostly for sleeping. Stayed in town for our son's wedding. Very clean house. In a nice area and close to everything you would need.

Vikings Monday night football

We went up for two days to see the city and go to a Monday night football game. Everything was super clean and the steam shower was amazing.

Perfect for a guys weekend

We spent a weekend in Minneapolis for a University of Minnesota hockey weekend. The house was perfect for 12 old guys. Enough sleeping space and a great kitchen with enough space to spread out with two living areas. We LOVED the steam shower! The host was super communicative and had everything ready for our stay. It was AWESOME!

Comfortable Stay in Park-like Neighborhood

Our daughter lives in the Upper North neighborhood in Minneapolis. For previous visits we have stayed in a hotel near her apartment. This visit, we were staying a bit longer and bringing family, so a house made more sense for us. Overall, we had a very comfortable stay. Joe was quick to answer any question and it was easy to find anything we needed. We loved the neighborhood and took walks every morning. The location offered easy access to dining and retail options, and the drive downtown was easy, too. Because of torrential rains the previous week, there were some wet spots in a basement bedroom. Joe shared details up front and there was a dehumidifier to help with the moisture. Unfortunately there was an odor but candles helped to minimize it. There were plenty of towels and bedding, with a washer and dryer in the basement. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and glassware, and the appliances were good quality. The basement TV room was a comfy place to relax. There is only streaming available, no cable, so while limiting for us it was fine for our daughter to choose programs. Very minor, tho! Overall, great communication, comfortable spaces, beautiful location. Small town feel with easy access to the big city!

Quiet, success.

This house was just last listed. Communication was wonderful with Joe! Parking in the back was amazing! The yard was awesome for our dog and the neighbor was amazingly quiet! If we are back, we will for sure stay again!!!!

We chose this place because it had many good reviews. However, we didn’t find it so great. On the positive side, it is a good-sized house with four bedrooms and had more than one bathroom.However, the downstairs had a very strong litterbox odor that really hits you as you descend the staircase. We suffered through that smell for four nights. Ugh! The rules said to sort the trash into garbage, recyclables, and organic waste. We were ok doing this, but the recyclable bin was more than half full when we arrived and the organic waste bucket that was supposedly on the kitchen counter, wasn’t. Also, the rules said that we would find laundry baskets in the bedroom closets for dirty towels. There weren’t. Perhaps the rules should be updated, especially given that the host sends you a message telling you to make sure you abide by the rules. The oven was filthy and there was only ONE dishwasher tab left for a four-night stay and I refused to buy more, especially after having to buy toilet tissue. There were no laundry baskets for dirty towels (ref. the rules) and extra bed linens were just tossed on the floor in closets. And then there was the cockroach in the downstairs bath. Sorry, but I expect more when renting through a site like VRBO. And one last note for the hosts – the upstairs bath tub drains very slowly. You also have a broken hinge on the cabinet door by the sliding glass doors in the kitchen (we found it broken when we arrived.)

Northeast Neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay in Northeast Minneapolis. It was in a quiet neighborhood. The house itself was fair-had all the amenities we needed. The house smelled a bit musty, could benefit from a dehumidifier in the summer months. The two bathrooms were nice to have for our group of ten. The basement bathroom had black mold around the shower. But for the little time we spent there, it was okay. Thanks for having us.

Pictures need updating

The deck ,grill and furniture [dirty]were not useable[unlike pictures]. The floors creaked. And the 3rd night there at about 3 am when all 6 of us were asleep, an air duct fell off and woke the whole group. There were not enough glasses for our group. 4 at most. Advertised could have 10 people.

Summertime in Minneapolis - very nice!

My family really enjoyed our stay in this clean, comfortable home. Much of the time was spent visiting out on the deck in this quiet neighborhood. The ice maker happened to act up while there and Joe offered to do whatever he could to take care of the situation. I admit that some of the reviews my husband read did give me pause…. but we kept communications open and had no problem whatsoever. A suggestion made by one in the party was to install no-slip strips in the tub/shower, or a removable mat. We found it dog friendly, and she too enjoyed sunning on the deck. We’d certainly visit again!

The home was very spacious, clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable as well as the couches for reading and relaxing in the evenings.The owner communicated excellently before and during the stay which was appreciated as I was driving a long distance for this stay and knowing details about my arrival was great. The backyard being fenced was an plus and I enjoyed the quiet neighborhood where I could walk my dog. It was close to amenities and there was plenty of parking. I would stay here again if traveling for work in the same area!

Plenty of Room/Great Location

This property was perfect for our multi-aged family to use - lots of bedrooms and beds and plenty of living space! The yard was fenced for our dog, as well. The neighborhood is quiet, a nice area about 10-15 minutes from downtown Minneapolis. The kids in our trip were especially excited for the playground and (free) wading pool across the street! Joe was very helpful with booking our stay and making sure things were clear and positive for our trip. We will definitely recommend this location to anyone traveling to the Minneapolis area.

Great location

Quiet neighborhood near great park, restaurants, breweries, groceries etc. friendly neighbors. Liked the alley parking at the back of property. Had Grands with us-fenced in back yard and Waite Park with wading pool across the street perfect! Open basement stairs with crawling baby kept us on our toes.

Our stay in MN was wonderful! The house provided a quaint place to gather with good friends. The two floors allowed our families to keep our normal routines. The location of the house was great for our needs. The host was professional and quick to communicate. There were a few frustrations: the bunk bed in the basement was a bit unsafe, a missing smoke detector in a bedroom basement, a few unclean dishes, and a pair of undies in one of the beds.
