Had a great time in Portland. This is an older property in an older area of Portland. Good walking area and convenient to downtown. Parking is nearby. Houses are close together here so you will hear your neighbors, but unless you need your accommodations all shiny and new, this is a great option. Recommend the mail run cruise and the albacore sub museum in Portsmouth.

Understand the rules but wanted to stay an extra hour or 2 would have left if the cleaners came. I’m a Marriott guy and can do late check out till 4PM…

Check in was hassle free. It had all the basics and the communication with the manager was great. Beds were clean and comfy. The outside of the house was really unappealing but the inside was much better.

The house was clean. It’s definitely an older home. If you have young kids or light sleepers, I would not recommend. You can hear EVERYTHING outside plus the people walking around the upstairs apartment. The photographer really did a great job with the photos. The house is clean but just older and needs some updating, fresh coat of paint etc

Unfortunately, the pictures look much better than the actual property. This could be a cute space but it is not at all kept up. All of the furniture is old, scratched and just thrown together. We felt like things were thrown together like a frat house. Paint was chipped and scratched all through the house, colors didn't match and there was thick dust on blinds and molding. Many of the blinds, shutters and lighting were partially broken. There was no effort to make it comfy or keep it up.There were no kitchen towels, instead they had a bath hand towel on the stove.There was no cable or streaming for live tv. We wanted to watch a sports even but couldn't due to no live tv available.On the positive side, communication with the owner and property management office was good when the front door lock broke and the beds were comfortable. Also, the location was close and convenient to walk or take a quick uber to many places.

Incredible, centralized location, ample space and air conditioning power, comfortable, charming, and historic. Many fond family memories made here during our reunion weekend in Portland.
