The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Gather used sheets and towels, and place down the laundry shoot. This is in the closet outside the bedroom with the day bed. Careful not to over stuff the shoot. Leave comforters and shams on beds.
All trash must be bagged and placed inside appropriate bin outside. Small green bin is garbage, blue bin is recycling, large green is yard waste.
Please turn off lights, electronics, etc. & turn thermostat to 72. Close all the curtains. Ensure back door is locked. Exit via front door. Pull the door closed & touch the Yale button on lock.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

It was such a treat to stay in this charming historic home. You feel transported back in time with the amazing architectural details but with all the modern amenities. It had everything to suit our family and dog- a 3rd floor rec room, bunk beds, a great fenced in yard, a dog bed, food/water bowels, plus a Harry Potter-style bathroom under the stairs! The host was very welcoming and gets 5 stars for efficient and warm communication. We left laundry in the dryer after we checked out and she offered to ship it or arranged for it to be picked. A true host!

Loved the charm of this old house. The host was fabulous to work with. I gave it three stars only because it is an old house which still is in the renovation stage and it still needs some work. It worked perfectly for our family. It is not appropriate for those who have trouble climbing stairs. I would give it 3 1/2 stars if allowed to do so.
