This is a lovely traditional Japanese house. The host was very friendly and responded promptly and helpfully to all of our questions. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay - including a hob, fridge-freezer and washing dryer. We were close to bus stops that enabled us to use the Kyoto City buses (excellent regular service) to explore the city.
We were very pleased w the property's amenities and its a very nicely decorated home. We had difficulty finding the property as the VRBO provided address was not working in google maps, though the host was very helpful and had already provided the right address. The property is nicely situated and has cute shops nearby in a passageway. A bus stop is close by as well. Theres a grocery store and 7/11 a short walk away.Upon arrival the beds and bathroom were not adequately cleaned but the host was made aware and quickly took steps to rectify. There was plenty of cleaning products for us to use like a vacuum and washing machine (w dryer), where needed.
