Escapada tranquila - bonita zona residencial en las palmas.

Totalmente amueblado de dos dormitorios, 2 baños condominio en entorno privado con piscina. A 2 minutos a pie de la playa, y a la playa de café y el bar y restaurantes pacifico, a 5 minutos en coche del centro de coco. El lugar es genial. La piscina es privada. La cocina está bien equipada y el condominio es magnífico. Estamos en una excelente ubicación en Playas del Coco, con productos locales para compras, restaurantes y vida nocturna. A solo 20 minutos del aeropuerto internacional de Liberia. Además, podemos organizar todos sus tours, tirolesas, surf y otras atracciones. Tiene mucho valor por el dinero. our host was very welcoming and helpful. we come to Coco annually. this is our first time stating at Blue Marlin-and we will come again! The condo has everything that is needed for a months' stay; we really appreciate the washer/dryer AND the bonus of a yoga mat!! plus a great pool area and serene surrounding green space. it's on the quiet side of Coco, about 1 mile walk to the center of town. The beach is 1 block from our door, so it's an easy walk to daily sunset oceanside cocktails.

Great area

Always have a great stay here. Property is in a great location. Short walk to beach, shopping and local plaza with restaurants. A bit longer walk brings you to downtown coco. Hope to make it back next year.

Nice spot, this was our second stay, location is perfect for us as it’s walking distance to the beach and small store near by for anything you may have missed from the grocery store. Kitchen is adequate for small meals and there are restaurants within walking distance in the area. King size bed in the upstairs bedroom is a bonus.

The cutest place ever. Well kept and equipped with everything you need..plus! The pool and grounds kept spotless. A short relaxing walk to the beach. Rented a golf cart from Island rentals ( also great ) and had an absolute blast. Saddened us to leave.

Relaxing by the beach

It was lovely and relaxing. Everything anyone could need. Manager showed up quickly when the condo AC was stuck on high. 100% recommend it!!

Awesome stay over Christmas

We were there for 2 weeks over the holidays. The condo is 5 min walk to the beach and 20 min walk to downtown (or 2 u.s dollar cab ride). Neighbors in the condo were great, very quiet area. Lots of wildlife on and near the property to watch. The kitchen had everything. Beds very comfortable. Only wished the BBQ was propane not charcoal. Would highly recommend this place to anyone of any age.

Great Condo

Condo was as advertised. 5 min walk to beach and to small grocery store and restaurants. Complex was just 6 condos and pool right outside our door. Kitchen was well equipped and having the washer/dryer was a great bonus! Definitely would recommend it. The property manager (Kattia) arranged our airport transfer to and from the condo. She was very helpful and friendly.

Wonderful stay

Location was great - 2 minute walk to the beach. Gorcery stores and local fish market within walking distance. Accomodation was wonderful, unit had everything you could need, soft bath towels, fully supplied kitchen, beach towels and chairs, even a cooler to take to the beach. Issue with air conditioner was fixed promptly. Small issue with calcium buildup on the shower head that the property manager told us to fix with vinegar that he would bring but never followed up with. Would definitely recommend this property.

Costa Rica Playa del Coco

Condo was great! Pictures don't do it justice, it's very cute and Costa Rican decorations! Short walk to the beach and a few restaurants and shops! We had the pool all to ourselves! The only complaint was a few days after we got there they started remodeling next door. It was extremely loud they were breaking down concrete walls from 8:00 to 5:00 p.m. but it got us out of there and we took a lot of tours to see more of Costa Rica! We would stay there again! Pura Vida! 😊 🌺♥️

We stayed for a month in November and we’re very happy with our choice. This is a comfortable, clean, well equipped townhouse in an excellent location if you are staying in Playa Del Coco. The complex itself has 6 units so is very quiet, and safe. One of the neighbours lives there full time and they were very friendly. The pool was lovely and the temperature warm. We walked to the beach in just a few minutes, and into town in about 20 minutes. We rented a car for the month which allowed us the flexibility to have some great day trips to nearby beaches and parks, and also on some overnight excursions. We would not hesitate to stay there again if we travel to Playa del Coco in the future.

Ok location

This place is ok for two but it needs some tender loving care. This is only rental of five units and that does make a difference.Must say the beach area needs lots of work. To many motor bikes near beach. Something that the beach area really needs is a LIFE GUARD STAND WITH FIRST AID EQUIPMENT. When we were at the beach we saw a man drown and ambulance took to long to get there and had limited supplies…

Nothing but complaints from this tenant. This is one of many, its a copy and paste from tenant. Our time here has been different than we had hoped but with the cost of things it sure makes it hard on us. Couple examples would be the car rental with all the add ons they have. Also we took a boat trip and rum showing that also was way out of our budget. Groceries have sure surprised us and we tried all stores. A lot has to do with the raised prices and the large exchange to the American dollar. Then we eat out a few times at what we felt were just nice restaurants but were really surprised at the final price and the first few times we missed that the tip was already on the bill. the condo was expensive for us because were from Canada and the Canadian dollar is not good now

Great Stay in a Quiet Area

5, Blue Marlin was a great place to see the sights and beaches of Playa Coco. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood (there is some construction happening in the area) and is an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. If you don’t have a vehicle and are okay walking in the heat, the town center is about 1.5 km from the place, but there are golf cart and bicycle options too. The unit itself is very well stocked and has pretty much everything you’ll need to make all sorts of meals. The two beach chairs work fine and are easy to take to the beach, but they’re not super comfortable. The pool outside your front door is so refreshing and convenient. A couple of loungers around the pool deck would be a nice addition. I’ve saved the best for last! Kattia, the property manager is simply the best! A lovely lady who was available whenever we needed her and who saved our butts after we got lost our first evening after darkness fell. (Believe it when they say you shouldn’t try to find the place on your own!) All in all, an excellent stay!

Kattia, la gestionnaire d'immeuble était absolument charmante. L'endroit était vraiment très bien situé, tout près de la plage et disposait de tout ce qu'il fallait; serviettes, chaises et meme une petite glacière. Le secteur est tranquille et sécuritaire, la cour très bien aménagée et bien entretenue. Cuisine très bien équipée et deux salles de bain complètes. Le seul petit défaut, c'est qu'il n'y avait pas de climatisation dans une des chambres. Il fallait donc dormir avec la porte ouverte, mais ce n'est rien d'insurmontable. Dans l'ensemble, cest vraiment un excellent choix.

Lack of water on several occasions

Due to construction in town the water was off for up to 8 hours on one day. Others it was 4-6 hours. Out of 16 days I'd say it was "off" at least 13 for hours at a time. Very little clothing storage in the 1st floor bedroom, and drawers and cabinets can use updating (very loose). But the beach is a 2 min walk, town grocery and other stores you pass going to the condo which is about a 1 min drive.

Great condo in a quiet area

The condo was well equipped, nicely decorated and had a nice pool. Great location, near the beach, only about a 15 minute walk into town and a number of restaurants close by. We really appreciated having the washer and dryer in the unit. This condo is excellent for long or short term stays. We really enjoyed our time at the condo.

Excellent getaway!

Pool right outside door. Nice roomy unit. Great decor. Washer and dryer in unit a big plus. Close to the beach with bike paths. Pool and grounds well maintained. Convenient to small town with many restaurants. Altogether convenient! Our hosts and property manager were most communicative and helpful!

Perfect little condo

What more would one need. Clean, efficient, well furnished, pool right out your door, only 6 units on grounds, very easy going neighborhs, safe neighborhood, beach 1 block over, an Exceptipnal Property Manager, in Paradise. "Pura Vida"

Blue Marlin 5: A great home away from home

We had an excellent stay at this condo. It is as pictured and we found it to have pretty much everything we needed. The beach is indeed close by and we also really enjoyed having use of the swimming pool (which is cared for daily). The only negative experience we had here was with the property manager, Joanne. She offered to take us to town for groceries on our second day. After stopping to run some of her own errands, she dropped us at the grocery store and told us she would be having breakfast at the Subway Subs restaurant next door. My husband is newly diagnosed with diabetes so we were carefully reading labels and didn't realize a half an hour had passed. At this point, Joanne found us in the store and said in a huff that she had to leave for an appointment. We immediately went to the cash register to pay. Upon exiting the store, we found she had abandoned us. Had she given us prior warning that she was in a rush, we would have been more mindful of the time. We ended up walking and eventually found a taxi which took us home for a few dollars. We relied on ourselves after this and walked to and from town via the beach most days. If a taxi was needed, we found the red cabs to be safe, cheap and reliable. We also rented a car for 3 days to travel to Tamarindo, Arenal and Monteverde. Other than the grocery trip experience, we greatly enjoyed our time and found Playas del Coco, the locals and Costa Rica to all be wonderful. Word to the wise: Joanne will offer to drive you to and from the airport in Liberia for $50, but we discovered a cab was cheaper. We left the cards for two drivers in the condo for future visitors. Pura Vida!!!

Joanne, our property manager keeps a extremely busy schedule during high season. This is one of many properties she manages. All I say in her defense, when you are on somebody else s watch it matters. As mentioned, they lost track of time. I am really sorry about the misunderstanding between property mgr and client, but things happen! I am glad they enjoyed our property and location. Glenn and Cheryl

exceeded my expectations

I enjoyed a very relaxing, and quiet stay at this residence.Booking on VBRO was EZ, and upon arrival , i waited for what seemed like a while before Joanne came by with the keys, but i was pleased to see the condo was clean and felt "homey". I was pleased to see an HDMI cable available, since i had forgotten to bring one along.Booked several day trips out deep sea fishing during my stay found several places to book in downtown Coco fairly EZ. All and all i have to recommend, pretty much everything went smooth on my vacation, for once.Be nice to return sometime.
