Unit 103 offers first floor accommodations in a newly renovated 2 bedroom/2bath 'light and bright' setting. It easily sleeps four with a king size bed in the master bedroom and twin beds in the second bedroom.
Easy access to the pool and tennis court is achieved through a patio door, located off the dining area. The patio is one of my favorite places, offering a sheltered spot for relaxing, visiting and eating. It's a great place to get to know vacationing neighbors.
Our unit's floors are all tiled, which what makes it amenable to pets. Furniture is durable and comfortable for all to enjoy.
We are from Louisiana, where food and family are celebrated, thus the well-stocked kitchen from which great meals have been created and enjoyed after a day enjoying the beach.
Beach access takes about 50 steps along the complex sidewalk and over a dune-protecting "walk-over".
I bought this home at a time in my life when I needed water and wind and wonder. I lived in # 103 for 2 1/2 of the most peaceful and happy years of my life. I hope you enjoy it as a 'home away from home' and find it as simply comfortable as we have. I will do whatever I can to make your stay comfortable as well as memorable.
I currantly reside in Destin, which is close to where I work. While Destin is more well known than Navarre Beach, it has grown to a size that is accompanied by lots of traffic and long lines of tourists waiting to be served at both stores and restaurants. I come to Navarre to relax and 'slow down'. I hope you will do the same.
Sharon Goree purchased this condo in 2004
I began coming to the Florida Panhandle when I was five years old. Because I am a Military Brat, moving was the 'name-of-the-game' while growing up. By the time I spent my first night at Beachview #103, I had moved 38 times! Consequently, this area is the only consistent place I have ever known.
I actually planned to find a spot in either Destin or Mirimar Beach (both of which were 'nothing' back in the 50's). But , when I began looking for property, Navarre Beach was more like what I remembered from my childhood visits to the Emerald Coast. Quiet, not so much traffic, friendly people, beautiful beaches on which I could walk without having to step over or around families having fun.
I am happy to share my home with you and your family. It is a 'memory making place'... especially for children. At least that is what the beach has been for me.
I can still vividly recall carrying a peanut butter sandwich, in a fold-over baggy, and walking for miles on sand that looked like snow, while collecting shells in a pail(which, by the way, I still have today). Those shells have been with me for over 55 years... some are on display in Unit #103.
Any time of year is a great time to be at the beach! Each season brings something with it that makes it special and unique.
Summer is definitely 'fun in the sun' time... a haven for sun worshippers. Fall is less busy and the weather is spectacular, especially if you like a bit less heat, but still lots of sunshine. Winter, believe it or not, is one of my favorite times of year. The island is practically deserted and it is remarkable to watch the changes in the colors of the water. Spring brings a renewed sense of energy as Spring Breakers begin to come to the Coast for rest and relaxation. Rates, of course, vary with each season.
Another reason I decided to settle on Navarre Beach in 2004 is because there are public access parking spots to the beach about every 1/2 mile of Beach Blvd., which becomes "the Beach Road" as we drive to Pensacola.. I believe in this community spirit of sharing the wonders of the coastline.
I also appreciate the 'not so crowded' feeling of the community... far enough away to feel some quiet relaxation, but close enough to get whatever is needed.
By the way, Navarre Beach won a national award for a "beach beautification" project, which was well earned and is still being enjoyed by all who visit. The island is a pet-friendly place, where vacationing citizens are responsible about cleaning up after pets and keeping them off the beach.
Come see us! We are true to our word as being, "The Best Kept Secret on the Emerald Coast".
My husband and I spent the weekend here after our wedding and the place was fantastic! The beach is just a few steps away and the pool and outdoor area was a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather! The condo was very, very clean and we'll supplied. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook during your stay, along with the washer and dryer it was like having everything from home at your fingertips! Loved our time here and cannot wait to stay again! (:
I am unable to contact you. Your phone number reaches an announcement that voice mail box has not been set up, there is no email information, and there seems to be no other way to reach you. I need a place soon, and it looks like yours won't be it. The date of arrival above was the only one I could select...obviously I am not there! 5 stars for what looks like a lovely place!
I am interested in booking for Dec - March/15 but do not see an email address to contact you for quote.
This location is stellar. Although it is not facing the beach, we only missed that a little. It's a very short walk to the not-crowded beach. The condo itself is perfect. Clean, plenty of room, lovely decor, and very pretty. It's right by the pool but the noise is not a problem. We will def be back.
This condo is perfect! The inside is tastefully decorated and has wonderful kitchen accessories. The linens are very nice and not worn, the bed is very comfortable with pillows that are so comfortable. The inside décor is very happy and warm.
The distance to the beach is a nice walk with a beach that is not overcrowded. The condo location is great for pool and tennis court access.
The owner is very nice and personable.
A great stay and we will return.
