We had an amazing stay at Higher Ground! Private setting, fantastic house, and amazing amenities! We spent a lot of time out back disconnected and relaxing. Stargazing every night from the hot tub was a top favorite for us. Melissa put a lot of thought into the house and it shows! Furnishings and decor was top notch. We will definitely stay again when we are back this way! Wonderful way to spend our 29th anniversary!

Fantastic weekend get away! Very relaxing, and absolutely amazing views. Kitchen has everything you need to make meals. Sitting in the hot tub overlooking the Arkansas Grand Canyon was our favorite way to spend an evening. Highly recommend!

Higher Ground, Jasper AR — worth the drive and then some.Check-in was dead simple. Code works, no waiting on anyone, no awkward key exchange. You're just there.The cabin sits right on the rim of the Arkansas Grand Canyon. That's not marketing — you walk out and the canyon is actually in front of you. The views are the kind that make you stop talking mid-sentence. We caught the sunset on a clear night and it did what good sunsets do: reminded you that some things still work the way they're supposed to.The stars out here are legitimate. No ambient wash killing the sky. If you're used to city nights, it'll reset your calibration on what dark actually looks like.Location is practical too — Jasper's a short run down the road. The square has what you need and a few things worth finding. Everything felt low-friction, which matters when the whole point of the trip is to not think about logistics.Good cabin. Great placement. Solid execution on the basics. That combination is rarer than it should be.

Our stay at Higher Ground was absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the breathtaking mountain views and peaceful setting. The cabin itself is stunning and looks like it belongs in the pages of Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, or Veranda. Every detail feels thoughtful and of very high quality, from the comfortable bedding to the well stocked kitchen and beautiful amenities.After long days of hiking, relaxing in the hot tub while watching the sunset was pure perfection. At night, the sky was filled with stars, and it felt like we were in another world. This cabin is perfect for a romantic getaway, a family retreat, or a fun trip with friends. It truly offers something for everyone.Melissa, the host, was wonderful. She was kind, polite, and easy to reach anytime we had a question. Her warmth made the stay feel even more special.We cannot recommend Higher Ground enough. It is one of those rare places that feels like home the moment you arrive and leaves you already dreaming of your next visit. I almost want to give a bad review so it will not be booked the next time we want to stay, lol. But I could never do that to the owners and host, who have clearly gone above and beyond to make this place truly exceptional. We have stayed at hundreds of places during our travels, and I do not write this review lightly. Higher Ground is something rare and unforgettable.
