Great communication with the owners the entire time. They are very nice. The cabin is great size! Kitchen and bathroom have everything you need. The bed was huge and very comfy! Loved that there was games and a movie selection. The screened in porch was great! Very quiet area. The cabin was very clean and loved that the owner took the extra time to have lights on and heater on for when we arrived. Seen some deer up close one evening! We will absolutely return.
Another great stay.
This was the second time my Wife and I have stayed here. In my review the first stay, I stated not to change a thing. However they did make one change and it was great. They have put a Roof over the Hot Tub area. My Wife and I returned from a Craft Fair at which it rained the entire time. We did wear Rain Coats, however they did not cover our Legs. We were both wet and cold. We got into the Hot Tub and were able to warm up quickly and enjoyed the sound of the Rain on the roof. We would not have done this without the new Covering. The Cabin was just as great as last time. We hope to visit again, however it will most likely be next year sometime.
Peace at it's best
No cell phone. No t.v. No internet. It was heaven. Great place to re-set oneself.
This property was amazing. Though it is on a property with the Owners Home and another rental you would never know it when you are at the Cabin. The only things we heard while there were Nature Sounds, such as Birds, Frogs and Insects. The Screened Porch that overlooks a small Pond was a great place to be during the Early Mornings and late evenings. While there we heard Wild Turkey and many other Forest Birds. We also saw one Deer and a pair of River Otters. We had never seen Otters in the wild before, so this was a real treat.
The Property Owners, Paula and Keith, were extremely friendly and helpful. You will only speak to them if you stop by their Home, otherwise they will not be seen beyound the Barn.
If you are really into Tech and being connected, then this is not the place for you, no Cell Service, No WiFi and no TV. But if you want to fully relax and feel like your miles away from everybody then this place is perfection.
Is this the fanciest Cabin with have stayed in, No. However it was exactly what we needed and we will be back again. Paula and Keith, do not change a thing.
A great place to relax!!
Myself and 3 long time friends spent a few days, coming in on Wednesday and leaving on Saturday morning, at Ribbon Ridge Ranch Cabin. It was a great place for us to relax and renew our friendship. The cabin was clean, attractive and had everything we needed. I am sure that had we needed something Paula, our hostess, would have helped us get it if possible. She and her husband were very friendly and nearby but still the cabin was very private. Loved the hot tub and screened in porch. Take a blow up mattress and sleep on the screen in porch if you go in warm weather. The stars are beautiful and very visible with no city lights nearby. If you are hiking in the area and need some advice, go to Angela at Hilary Jones Wildlife Center just north of Jasper on highway 7. She is great also. Hope to stay at Ribbon Ridge again soon.
