Hildee’s Hideaway II is 5 minutes from the base front gates and the city’s lively downtown area is just a 15 minute drive.

Designed with comfort in mind, Hildee’s Hideaway II is a warm and welcoming 3-bedroom home, nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood! This cozy oasis offers a peaceful place to gather, reconnect and exhale. The private backyard is perfect for cooking out and family celebrations — complete with a fire-pit, grill, and comfortable seating areas for family meals, laughter, and well-earned relaxation. Come and enjoy, 25 year AFB veteran Hildee welcomes the opportunity to host you and your family while here in beautiful San Antonio.

Exceptionally clean, and newly updated!. The beds are the most comfortable we've ever slept on. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need, including coffee, creamer, and tea. The host was very responsive too. If you are coming for BMT graduation, the home is only 5 minutes from the Luke gate. It was perfect for us. Highly recommend!

This place was perfect! Came for my husbands AF graduation (only about an 5 min drive to each gate) and it was exactly as pictured with lots of necessities in the house and I need to really ask where anything was! Super easy door access nothing too complicated and the back yard was a perfect hangout space! 100% recommend. Didn’t have really any need to message host because everything was so well taken care of and set up!

Taking this opportunity to introduce myself, sharing a snapshot of my professional background along with personal experiences that were most rewarding to me both professionally and personally. First and foremost I am a Retired U.S. Air Force Veteran; proudly served over 25 years of honorable active duty service. Suffice to say I had a wonderfully rewarding career; traveling, meeting new people, indulging in new cultures; all memorable experiences that helped broaden my view of the world around us…so enriching! Following my service to country, I continued my professional career as a Registered Nurse; continuing my call of caring for others. Lastly, I am also an accomplished Pastry Chef! A passion borne from early childhood, as I watched my Mother create and bring to life an endless array of delicious sweet delicacies; pleasing both to the eyes and tummy! I would eventually open a store in South Jersey…which was a total success! I have since moved on from the day to day rigors of running and managing a confectionery establishment — and landed here, hosting my very own Airbnb business, and I absolutely love it! Oh and yes, I still love to bake as well! Thank you for allowing me to be your Host.
