The place was very nice! Even better than the pictures were able to capture. It's on the 10th floor and has a balcony it looks out over the beach and the ocean. It's an amazing view. The ocean is literally right there and you walk out from your building directly onto the beach! The host was excellent and very responsive and answered all my questions. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Ocean Sands 1004 Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We come to Madeira Beach every summer around the 4th of July. We have stayed at Ocean Sands the last three years and have always loved it. This year was the first year we have stayed in Ocean Sands 1004 and we loved it as much as Ocean Sands 801 which was where we had stayed the previous two years. The condo was clean and had everything we needed during our stay. The location is perfect, especially since it is ocean-side. You would be hard pressed to get any better views from your balcony watching the sunsets. Long Key Vacation Rentals has always been very easy to deal with and that was the case again. We look forward to staying at Ocean Sands again next year, hopefully in condo 1004 if it is available.

We love being so close to the beach and walking distance from eat

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautifully updated condo. Location is absolutely wonderful. Within a few hours of check in we noticed our socks were filthy. The carpets could use a cleaning. As seniors, we would recommend grab bars to assist getting in and out of the tub/shower. I would have mopped the floors but no bucket. The washer repair guy did not replace the 4 screws from the panel he removed to replace dryer seal. He had to come back because the washer didn’t work. Likewise the A/C was out on 2nd day. Maintenance was good about fixing it. Overall we enjoyed our time there.

Access CODE to the unit door will only be provided hours before check-in time which differs from the previous dozen VRBO bookings in this location. Anticipate a bit of stress not knowing how to open the door when arriving from airport.Price points for this unit being what they are considering the view from the 10th floor, the Spectrum cable feature and other quality amenities - but - we found the pillows, bed sheets and bath/beach towels to be unsatisfactory. We purchased pillows and towels for our stay. What are the owners thinking when we can spend to rent and need to keep property not our own? Consider how many times a person needs to shower at a beach front accommodation and seek comfortable bedding after sunset. I never offer a review but found it necessary to inform the owners of this unit to improve satisfaction for future renters.

Thank you for your review and feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. We provide detailed check-in instructions, including directions, parking info, lobby access, building details, and lock instructions, five days prior to arrival so guests have all the information needed to prepare for their stay. However, our policy is to provide the actual front door code on the day of arrival to ensure our cleaning and inspection team can make sure the property is fully ready for check-in with any interruptions. We’re sorry to hear that the pillows, sheets, and towels did not meet your preferences. These items have all been recently updated, but we understand that comfort is very personal and can vary from guest to guest.
