We stayed at this location in July 2026. The location is great, within walking distance to the beach. It has all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. The unit is very modern and clean. The balcony offered a relaxing view of the ocean. The neighborhood felt very safe and quiet. The host was very responsive to all questions and was very prompt to reply. I would easily recommend this location if you are visiting La Jolla.

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is clean and well stocked. The location is the best! Windansea beach is beautiful and just steps away. It was nice to wake up to the sound and view of the ocean every morning and have coffee on the patio. There are many great restaurants close by within walking distance or just a very short drive along La Jolla Blvd. Thanks for sharing this place with us!

Wonderful stay. I must have looked at every hotel in LaJolla before finding Casita Kolmar. It was perfect. Great neighborhood, close to everything (if not walkable), private parking spot, steps to great beach, and really fun decor. We loved the porch with views of the ocean. Highly recommend if you want to be out of the tourist hussle but close to the beach. It is not really walkable to restaurants so we drove to breakfast and dinner, which was easy. The kitchen is well stocked though. Also, great communication with host.
