The location and the view were amazing! The host was very easy to deal with, the home was very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here! We saw sea lions, dolphins, and whales from inside the condo! (Okay, we had binoculars to see the whales!)

Everything about this stay was top notch! Checkin was great, the place was great, location was great, view was great, I have nothing negative to say about this spot. We enjoyed the large space, everything was super clean, the views from the living room were fantastic.

Unbeatable views

Immaculate. Very clean. Incredible views. On the water. Scenic walk to La Jolla cove. Perfect location. Host was perfect. We have stayed multiple times in La Jolla and this is by far the best rental. Will definitely repeat.

Family Fun in La Jolla

I loved the place! Many reviews talk about the cleanliness of the unit, and it is indeed spotless. The kitchen had everything we needed, and our family enjoyed watching the surfers, the dolphins and the sunsets. The only minor thing that could have been better is that the owner gives 2 sets of keys rather than a code to open the unit door. For a family of 4 adults, 2 sets of keys were not enough. We needed a code for the front door. This is a minor point. Overall loved the stay and the ocean view!

Our family had a lovely stay at this condo. Great location across from the ocean. Wonderful views!!! We enjoyed walking to a number of restaurants to the north and also ventured south to Bird Rock area. Great visit!

Terrific Stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The location was wonderful. We liked having a glass of wine while we watched the sun set. Yassi, the representative of the rental unit, was very helpful in helping us deal with several minor issues. We would definitely like to stay there again.

Great location right on the beach!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean and the location was amazing! We loved being able to walk across the street to the beach and enjoyed the view from the couch as well! We loved being so close to lots of great restaurants and shopping. We were grateful for the window A/C units that kept the condo cool. The parking space is tight so I don't recommend bringing a large vehicle. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Windansea property

This was our second stay at this wonderful property at Windansea Beach. The location is perfect and the view from the living room is amazing. The owner and property managers are easy to work with and respond rapidly. We donated a couple of extra beach chairs to add to the 4 already available. We will definitely rent this property again and highly recommend it for people that enjoy watching the waves from their living room!

Amazing Views

This place is amazing! It is just as pictured. I can ditto everyone else saying how they loved watching the surfers! Literally dawn to dusk, they were surfing, boogie boarding. To watch from your windows so closely it felt like you were on the beach but no sand or heat! I’ll be back!

Incredible!

I’ve stayed at many VRBO’s and this property truly outshines them all. The location is incredible. My kids enjoyed watching the surfers from the living room windows. The views are expansive and the sunsets incredible. The check in process was smooth and easy. Major props for not having to do a bunch of cleaning prior to leaving, too. This is the way VRBO’s should be done. The gold standard!

Beautiful setting, very few plates and utensils, very good beds

Great view, wonderful location to watch surfers and see the waves. 90 degrees the first two days and the air conditioners can not handle that....usually weather is 75 to 80 and the rest of the days were perfect. Kitchen is minimal but adequate. No ice machine but they do give you a bag of ice. Would stay there again. A really gorgeous property.

Just amazing.

Gorgeous, well-designed and maintained condo with a floor-to-ceiling wall of glass showcasing the ocean, coast, waves crashing on the rocks and amazing sunsets. Everything about this place is as advertised, if not beyond. One note: the unit can run a little warm on hot sunny days, and making use of the air conditioning units and small vent windows makes it mostly comfortable. We did cross the street a few times and enjoyed the fresh salty breeze from the ocean. Yassi is very responsive and helpful.

Great location some upgrades needed

The location of this property is amazing with the beach directly across the street within seconds walking distance. My main issue complaint is the window dressings in the master bedroom! I expect At least decent black out ability in the master bedroom at least decent black out ability in a master bedroom The window dressings in the master bedroom and actually in the entire apartment are falling apart. I found myself sleeping with a pillow over my head not to get awoken by the extreme sunlight. Other than that the bed was comfortable the location was great the check in process was simple

Cute clean condo with an awesome view

Yassi and Anissa were both so quick to address any questions or concerns I had, I could tell they genuinely cared that my family and I enjoyed our time there, It makes all the difference when renting a home for a vacation. I saw dolphin pods swim by every morning while drinking my coffee in the living room, that was a big highlight for me and my kids to watch from the comfort of the couch. It’s a great location near everything you need within walking distance. The windandsea beach is so Beautiful we spent most of our time just hanging out there as it’s across the street from the condo. Everything being provided was so appreciated! being from AZ we have no need for beach umbrellas, boogie boards etc so having access to all that was awesome! Thanks so much! We hope to be back soon.

The unit was very clean with nice furnishings and many nice household amenities. The ocean view from the west-facing windows in the main living area is fabulous. All walls in both bathrooms are mirrored, as are single walls in the main bedroom and living areas, making the condo feel larger than it actually is. Missing from the condo are two things that were important to us but may be less important to others. First, there’s no outside deck or veranda from which to enjoy the ocean air and sounds of the waves crashing on the shore. Likewise, there are no sliding glass doors or other large windows that can be opened to the ocean. There are only approx 12” tall sliding windows at floor level to let the outside air in, which are so small as to have very little effect. Even with the ocean breezes blowing outside, there’s minimal fresh outside air getting inside. Second, despite the minimal natural air source, the condo has no central air conditioning. The condo did have three interior floor-standing A/C units plus ceiling fans and several other floor fans that, even with all fans set to “high”, the small floor level sliding windows wide open, and the window shades facing the ocean closed to block the sun, couldn’t bring the interior condo temperature below 85 in the afternoons when the outside temperatures were only in the mid 70s. The resulting inability to enjoy an outside deck and the fresh ocean air from this condo was very disappointing. Otherwise, the unit was very nice.

I have the awesome privilege of working with my best friend since elementary school helps me by hosting you during your stay. Yassi, your host, will meet you when you arrive, give you a tour and make sure you get settled and that all of your questions get answered. We both live within walking distance and are happy to help in anyway needed. She is a La Jolla local and loves giving away my favorite restaurant, beaches, shopping and activities tips.
