Why Stephanie Miller chose Hill Country

Stephanie has owned a Ladies gift shop on Old Ingram for the last 5 years and and just recently expanded on the same property. The Wishing Well is a cabin nestled behind the gift shop which makes shopping just steps away. There are 22 different shops and galleries on Old Ingram Loop and many other great attractions in just a short driving distance away.

What makes this cabin unique

The Wishing Well is a dream come true. Giant pecan trees, beautiful flowers and the incredible stars at night or the convenience to shop, view the Guadalupe and visit the other hill country attractions are all reasons to stay at the Wishing Well. We look forward to serving you and starting a friendship.

Absolutely perfect accommodations- Stephanie made my stay stress free w all the extras!

Lovely & private cottage on Old Ingram Loop w cute & unique shops including Stephanie's boutique on the property. I even splurged on a cute top which was a great value among her "sale" items. The most comfortable bed & beddings w memory foam topping - firm yet soft. Kitchen was well stocked with pastries, juice, cereal & basics. Arrangement of furnishings ideal w plenty of space, nice decor w towels & other essentials. Enjoyed the private front porch & the sound of the water trickling from the well. Fri pm provided live music & excellent BBQ/fish fry next door. Sat pm also provided live music at the wine shop directly behind the cottage, as well as a food truck serving shrimp/corn & potatoes which was quite good. Easily could've enjoyed both evening's music from my front porch but chose to mingle a bit.

Stephanie was easily available yet most respectful of privacy. The other guests were friendly but the cottages are arranged as to allow privacy as well. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the lovely hill country. I will return in January!

Relaxing and peaceful

  • 5 of 5

This is the second time I have stayed in this cabin, and I had another wonderful experience. Last time I was alone and enjoyed having the cabin to myself; this time my mom came with me and we both felt comfortable sharing the space. One of the most enjoyable times was having coffee together on the front porch and then walking down to the river. It is a very pretty area with all the comforts of home.

Relaxation and exploration in the hill country!

  • 5 of 5

This little cabin was perfect for the kids and I, we needed a nice little getaway from the crazy traffic and just crazy in Houston! So we packed up and headed west! We decided Wishing Well was a great place to call home for a weekend. We explored Ingram, Kerrville, Fredericksburg and Pedernales Falls. The kids loved that the cabin had a stocked fridge full of cereals and the granola bars and popcorn was devoured too! Wishing Well Bed and Breakfast is a fantastic place to get away from what ever ails you to reset your mind, body and spirit. There was plenty to sight see, shop and just hang out and have a cold drink! The old Ingram loop was fun and quirky to shop and walk around. I sat on the patio listening to the live music and enjoying a cold beer. I can't wait to come back and enjoy another stay at this little cabin! So welcoming, so relaxing, so... What are you waiting for?! Book your nights and start relaxing!
