The apartment only has one bedroom and when you open the Murphy bed in the laundry room you can't move around to do anything else. It says sleep six but that includes a couch that I really don't think two adults can sleep on. The common area was very spacious and comfortable.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent stay. We want every guest to feel comfortable, and we're sorry the layout of this particular unit didn't meet your expectations.
We'd like to clarify a couple of details for future guests reading this. The bedroom does include a Murphy bed, which is called out clearly in both our listing photos and description — it folds up into the wall to free up floor space when not in use. This unit also has a stacked washer and dryer located in that same room; these were relocated from the basement specifically to make laundry accessible for guests who have difficulty with stairs, so it's a feature we added for convenience rather than an oversight.
The listing also notes a sleeper sofa in the common area as part of the total sleeping capacity, which comfortably accommodated the space for six guests as advertised.
I am sorry that you did not understand what a Murphy bed was and we also understand Murphy beds aren't for everyone, and we're glad the common area's spaciousness and comfort came through in your stay. We always want our descriptions to set the right expectations, so we appreciate you giving future guests a chance to know exactly what to expect.

Lighthouse Landing was absolutely perfect, it’s decorated beautifully, the bed was comfortable, hot tub was relaxing! It’s in the perfect location to walk to the river to watch the ships, eat at the wonderful restaurants and to do a little shopping! We will definitely stay here again!

Overall we had a nice stay. The facility was lovely. There was a lack of towels, minor issues with flies and the only air conditioning was a single unit in the living room. It would have been nice to have some sample sized toiletries available as well. Communication was great.

I booked the place specifically for the hot tub, but the water temp was never able to get above body temp. Also, when interacting with the owner, most of the messages were AI. Professionally, I work in tech, but in renting a house for the weekend, I don't want to talk with an AI bot. I'd rather talk with a real person.
First the great!! Location is perfect. Off street parking. Gorgeous interior. Hot tub was wonderful. Host was easy to keep in contact with as needed. Good signage making it easy to find. Electronic locks for easy access. Would ABSOLUTELY book again!!!Now the not so great. The outside of the VRBO is in need of updates and repairs. Holes in siding in several places. The deck by hot tub is slippery when wet. The trash cans have multiple torn open bags on the ground. There is an upstairs tenant.
