We enjoyed the cabin very much. We definitely could have used more towels. Also, the quality of the household products, i.e. paper towels, toilet paper, soaps, etc. should be upgraded considering the cost of the rental. We will rent it again as it has become special to our family.

The home is lovely. I love the little reading room with beautiful views. The porch was huge and there were a lot of great areas to sit outdoors and enjoy the surroundings.

Everything was petty clean, there was some dog hair around the furnitures on the floors - but I expected it, knowing it was dog friendly. The hot tub was perfect. The cabin was in the perfect location, I loved watching the sunrise on the porch each morning.

Family Fall Break

The location of the property was amazing! You were close to Dollywood/Gatlinburg but still felt secluded when you were at the cabin. The decor was also great - we loved the ā€˜summer campā€™ vibe of the cabin with the historic photos throughout the property. The game room loft area was also a big hit with our kids!We had several issues that I addressed with the property management company, but they did not have technicians available to assist that day & they also could not guarantee they would be available when we returned to the cabin (we were traveling with dogs and did not want the maintenance crew to enter while we were away). We were not offered any assistance or suggestions after this initial correspondence. In addition, the WiFi was very unreliable - mainly needed the wifi/internet for streaming services on TVs since the cabin also did not have a cable provider. Could not use the TV in the main bedroom because it was unable to connect to wifi at all; living room tv was unable to connect to streaming services (such as Comcast app) so had to connect on our cell phones and share the screen to the main TV. Would have appreciated extra blankets (for the living room or to sit out on the back deck at night) and more towels (only 1 towel per person to use at the hot tub and for showers).

Cozy with incredible views

When we arrived, the view was better than the pictures. The mountains were never ending. The cabin was very nice. Clean, well supplied and beds and couch were very comfortable. We were traveling with our 2 dogs and they even felt at home, even without their fenced yard. The drive into the towns was very reasonable. Unfortunately it rained on and off everyday so we didn't get to enjoy the firepit, but it is a great amenity. There was just a small issue with the code coming in, but I need to say that the owner quickly called me after I contacted the rental company and he made sure we got in. Great customer service all around!Our party of 5 all say that we would definately stay again and recommend this cabin.Thank you camp Runamuk for a great family vacation!

Great location!

Great location and easy to find! We loved this cabin. It had plenty of space and things to do for the children. The only downsides were the pillows were hard as rocks, the water pressure was not good at all and towards the end of our stay the cabin was filled with an egg smell. And the cleaning wasnā€™t to great. A lot of dust. Also, before our stay trying to contact the owner was an no go! No response! Other than those things it was great. We will be staying here again!

Quick weekend

My son had a school group trip to Dollywood, so we chose to rent a cabin and make a weekend of it. The ā€œCamp Runamuckā€ was very well done and so much fun. The deck, fire pit and hot tub area were the perfect spot to take in the mountain view. It was one of our all time favorite spots. Itā€™s a great location that feels further out yet itā€™s only a couple minutes from attractions.

Spring Break 2025

We absolutely loved our stay. Great location with awesome views. My son loved the bunk bed and tent bed. The teepee was a hit also. We will definitely be looking to stay here again in the future.

A Solid Recommend

Overall, this is a fine property as reflected in the pictures. Wonderful sun room overlooking the mountain view, fun fire pit area (with that same mountain view) and good space for family fun. I was disappointed to not have the fireplace setup to be wood burning. The downstairs king mattress was uncomfortable (for us at least). The stairs leading to the loft/upstairs bedroom are incredibly narrow, making it difficult (and ill advised for older people or thise without climbing ability) to go up and down. I still recommend the property for all its character and overall positive attributes.

Perfectly appointed cabin with everything we needed for a comfortable stay over Christmas. The views from the sunroom and fire pit are lovely. Kitchen was well-stocked with needed appliances and utensils, to include a crockpot, Keurig, and coffee maker.

Beautiful cabin!

This was the second time my husband and I have stayed at this cabin. This cabin comes with a stocked kitchen! It truly feels like home away from home. Itā€™s secluded enough to feel like youā€™re far off in the mountains but just 5-10 minutes away from all activities the city has to offer. It has a spacious yard for our dog to run around as well. The perfect cabin for a small or large family in my opinion. You wonā€™t be disappointed! We plan to make this a yearly vacation spot, thatā€™s how much we enjoyed our stay both times!

Perfect Cabin

Fantastic stay!! Has everything you need from 2 types of coffee makers to skewers for s'mores. Plenty of blankets! My only complaint is the pillows were super thick and hard, used a blanket as a pillow. Perfect location for everything we wanted to do, hot tub was a favorite every evening. Beautiful views, very cute decor. We didnā€™t want to leave.
