About David Blythe
I am the proud third generation owner of Branch’s Furniture located just below the condo. I am married with two wonderful children. My hobbies include inshore and offshore fishing and hunting. I enjoy spending time on the water from New Bern to the coast with my family and friends.
David Blythe purchased this Condo in 1998
Why David Blythe chose New Bern
Perhaps the most convenient property located in the center of our beautifully restored historic business district. I am just below in my furniture store if you need anything at all.
What makes this Condo unique
I designed an built this condo in 2003 while expanding my family business below. The unit is very quiet and well appointed with heavy moulding, custom cabinets, granite and bronze hardware from England.

We enjoyed the location and the apartment was very nice! It was perfect to explore downtown/MumFest
One complaint I had was it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke occasionally in the apartment. It was very clean. You could also hear things outside in the middle of the night and the neighbors at times but overall an excellent stay! We would definitely stay here again!
I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. The smoke and noise must have come from the street during the street festival. Please come stay with us again soon!
The condo was very clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. There are so many restaurants close to it that we didn’t use the kitchen except for the coffee pots. Assume everything worked fine. Seemed well stocked with items one might need. Checkin and checkout was easy, as was parking. Can’t
beat the location, right in the center of things. I loved the decor; it was not cluttered with decorative items that just get in the way. Nice artwork!
Liked the size and design of the closet. Suggestion: Needs hangers.
Our host David was very friendly and responded very swiftly to emails. It was all very easy and fun.
We would definitely stay here again. Great small town with lots to do.
Note: just be aware that the stairs up to the condos are steep. We had no problem, but we have stairs at home too.
Clean, comfortable and convenient!
Was perfect for our needs...we will be back!
I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. Come back soon!
Very well appointed and conveniently located in downtown New Bern. The owners are the epitome of Southern hospitality. Would definitely stay here again!
