Reformado con buen gusto en junio de 2010. La Villa es muy privada y se encuentra en el lado este del prestigioso y exclusivo Cap d'Antibes a medio camino entre las playas de Garoupe y Salis, a solo 800 metros de distancia. La villa está bien equipada y se mantiene en excelente orden, con muy buenos muebles en colores claros y frescos pisos de mármol en las escaleras con amplias tablas de roble francés en el nivel del entresuelo. La villa dispone de aire acondicionado con Internet WIFI de banda ancha y televisión vía satélite. Fuera de la Villa tiene una terraza, piscina privada climatizada con una cubierta de seguridad operada eléctricamente y admite estacionamiento fuera de la carretera para 2 autos. Hay restaurantes de todos los estándares a poca distancia a pie o en coche, el mercado de Old Antibes está a 20 minutos a pie y las playas están a solo 5 minutos a pie. Los animados cafés y bares del famoso Juan Les Pins están a solo 20 minutos a pie cruzando el cuello de Cap d'Antibes.

Excellent holiday villa

I stayed here for a week with my husband, 1 year old and my parents. We all had an amazing time, the villa was perfect for us and also had everything we needed for our daughter. In particular the air conditioning was excellent which was a life saver in the current heat wave! Our hosts were so helpful and always quick to respond to queries. I would definately recommend this villa and we hope to visit again in the future.

Great property in an amazing location

I am hesitating leaving a superb review worrying that the villa will be busy next time we decide to visit due to increased demand :)On a serious note, the property is great and much better in person than on the pictures. It’s spacious (we were a group of 8 and felt very comfortable), well maintained and air conditioned. The pool is great and kids had a great time in it. The location on quiet and luxurious Cap d’Antibes is unbeatable. Few minutes to the Salis beach, walkable to a boulangerie and a small grocery store, and to a great hike starting from the LaGaroupe beach. Old town Antibes is a 25-30 minute walk or a EUR12 Uber ride away. The host is welcoming, attentive and helpful. Excellent experience all around.

Peaceful idyll

The villa was exactly as described and provided excellent accommodation and facilities for a party of seven adults and children. It was very well presented and well equipped. The pool was a highlight as was the Alexa pod. We all enjoyed the quiet environment and our atolls from the property to the nearby beach. All the support staff, headed by Liz, were courteous and efficient. We were especially impressed by the the speed with which minor issues were resolved. Overall an excellent venue for a relaxing holiday.

Tasteful, private and secluded

We spent a week in this beautiful villa in October of 2012. The accommodation is of a very high standard and tastefully decorated. It is located on a quiet road just minutes from the charming Antibes, which is full of lovely bars, restaurants and cafes. The villa had everything we needed inside and out and was nice and private in it's surroundings. We found it very clean and the garden was immaculately kept. The pool is a really nice size and was conveniently heated. Despite our visit being at the end of the season we were pleasantly surprised by the warm weather and sat outside late into the evenings. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to return in the future.

Perfect, in every way.

Arriving late in the day is never the best. But arriving to this beautifully restored home was fantastic. I felt a beautiful sense of calm the moment I was at the gate and what a treat when I walked in. Everything is extremely well appointed and the detail was evident in all rooms. The pool was even heated and we had the fridge stocked by the house care taker with what we required. My only problem was having to go home so soon. Lovely. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for some break whether it be some creative inspiration or a romantic get away.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Johns Haus. Der Pool wurde jeden Tag von den Kindern ausgiebig genutzt. Eine sehr leckere Bäckerei, kleiner Lebensmittelladen und mehrere Strände waren fussläufig gut erreichbar. Alles war so wie beschrieben und die Kommunikation mit John verlief reibungslos. Gerne wieder 😃

Lovely villa in a super convenient location

The villa is well laid out with everything we needed for our family holiday consisting of 3 generations. The pool was a real hit as was the convenience of being able walk to the glorious beach and the old town of Antibes. Great restaurants were nearby with friendly staff. We were given a lovely welcome and nice send off by Liz. So all in all a perfect holiday. Thank you John.

L'endroit est calme et bien place, on peut marcher a la plage a pieds en 5-10 minutes, les vues sur la baie sont magnifiques. Les cigales nous rappellent que c'est l'ete. La piscine est agreable a toute heure. Lave vaisselle et lave et seche linge a disposition si besoin. La clim dans la maison, tres appreciee avec les chaudes temperatures d'ete. Jolies ballades a pieds aux alentours. Nous avons passe un bon sejour et recommandons cette maison.

Fabulous Villa!

This is a lovely villa in a very quiet, residential area of Cap D'Antibes. The villa is designed very well and equipped with everything thing that you may need. It was absolutely immaculate on arrival and it was great to see that the kitchen had all of the basics that are often lacking in rental properties. We enjoyed sitting in the secluded garden and swimming in the lovely pool. John was fantastic to deal with. I would highly recommend this property to anyone

Three families Three generations had a lovely stay in beautiful Cap d´Antibes

We had 10 wonderful days in Cap. Six adults, two babies 13 and 15 months old. We had the fortune to stay in a very comfortable and well equipped villa. The kitchen was a pleasure cooking in. Besides we loved the barbecue facilities. Furthermore the washing machine and tumble dryer in the cellar were most suitable and convenient for us. A charming garden. A heated pool (with numerous towels) perfect for all ages. A gardener and a pool man are taken very good care of the garden and the pool. Many thanks to John Berns for his friendly patience and positive support in fulfilling all our wishes. And to Maurice for assisting us in place.

Perfect in every way - And exactly as described!

In most cases, places are rarely as described and sometimes can be a little disappointing but this villa was perfect in every way. A very typical French style villa, in a wonderful tranquil setting. The rooms were spacious and clean (linen, mattress, kitchen and garden all spotless). The standout features include the fantastic gallery main bedroom, the spacious lounge and the wonderful heated pool. Whether you are here as a couple, a group or as a family (we are a blended family with 4 children ages 15,14,12 & 11!) the villa has something for everyone (including free WiFi!!) and is a great place to chill and enjoy the South of France. John Berns was very friendly, extremely helpful and easy to deal with as was Maurice when we arrived, handing us a bottle of wine to enjoy our first evening with. Many basic food items such as oils, coffee, dishwasher tablets etc were available, which was really helpful. The kitchen was well stocked and there were numerous pool towels available for our use. In the cellar a washing machine and tumble dryer were available, which was really handy. We would recommend a car as we found the taxi service a little on the expensive side but if you enjoy a stroll the popular beaches of Juan De Pins are only 30 mins walk away and the local beach only 10mins. A stroll into quaint Antibes is only 20 mins. The local shop selling all you really need is only 10mins walk too. If you are after a great French villa with a lovely pool in a tranquil setting look no further. We are sad to leave. :-(

Nice, comfortable and good location

We stayed at the Villa for two weeks in July, two families with children. The Villa was just as described, really comfortable and convenient, recently renovated. And the kids loved the pool... Location was nice, a short walk to Salis beach. Thank you John and Maurice for making it a great stay :-)
