Make yourself at home in this lovely 2-bedroom Saint Joseph retreat, called "Urban Oasis". This enchanting basement apartment features a cozy living room with additional sleep options (Cordoroy full size bean bag mattress and a twin size (firm) mattress), perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The bedrooms offer a king bed and a queen bed for a good night's sleep with temperature regulating bedding and black out curtains. If you are alumni or have lived in St. Joseph in the past, you might experience a bit of nostalgia, as we have local art (for sale) and furniture reminiscent of the town and colleges in our oasis. With amenities like a furnished kitchen with coffee and snacks, large living space, hair dryer, laundry, and heating, you'll have everything you need for a comfortable stay. A great place to call home base while you're away, we hope you enjoy your stay. We also offer a nice backyard with a relaxing patio area which includes a fire table, small charcoal grill, shade, soft lighting, and four adirondack chairs. Your oasis is surprisingly quiet while next door to Bad Habit, St. Joseph Meat Market, W/R Home Company, and White Peony. Within walking distance, are eating favorites like The House, Local Blend, Bello Cucina, Crew, BoDiddleys, and Flour and Flower. You might even get a private tour of the owner's business upstairs called St. Joseph Health and Wellness where you could enjoy Halotherapy, Massage, IV Therapy, Fitness, and much more. Other favorite stops are our two colleges, St. Benedicts College and St. John's University, and the Wobegon trail.
