We enjoyed our stay at Rolle Town Retreat. Upon arrival, we found the house very clean. It had all the appliances needed to fix your own meals. Two bedrooms, one bath—all very nicely done. Enjoyed the double kayak which was provided—though it would be nice if there were two single kayaks. Perfect place to explore Man-O-War Cay, Moriah Harbor Cay National Park, and Little Exuma. Also, Starlink was provided for WiFi which was very important for us, as we have to conduct business on the Internet. So, all in all, we were very pleased.

Rolletown is paradise!

Perfect basic stay for those who want to experience Exuma. Rolletown retreat has everything you need to live comfortably for a week and is in close proximity to tons of beaches on Exuma!

Rolletown Retreat is Awesome

Rolletown Retreat is a wonderful place to enjoy all the spectacular things that Exuma has to offer. The house is very clean and cozy. The beach and water are right there, and with Man of War Cay directly across you can use the paddle board and kayaks to explore for hours. We will definitely stay at Rolletown Retreat many more times.

This was a great experience and wonderful place. Close to town if anything was ever needed. The host Samuel was great to communicate with if questions arose or needed something. The view was unbelieveable and we had all amenities that were needed. Kayaks, coolers and water necessities. Thank you Samuel for the great experience we will definitely be staying again.

Location is Amazing!

You cannot beat the location and the view from the house. There is a small private beach right next to the house for easy use of the kayaks and paddle board provided. The house had everything we needed for cooking. We will definitely stay here again.

Loved it!

Incredible location to explore via kayak some of the most beautiful waters on the planet! No frills, but super clean with everything you need to enjoy Man O War and Moriah.

Lovely place

Another great stay in Exuma. Samuel was easy to get in touch and very helpful. His housekeeper is a gem! House is spacious and clean. My daughter loved using sup and kayak. Beautiful sandbars and lots of wildlife. We saw starfish, lemon sharks and collected sand dollars. Can’t wait to be back.

Perfect getaway

This property was perfect for our stay. The house came with kayaks and Kayaking over to Man a War Cay was a highlight in our trip. We found 70 sand dollars in one day just exploring along with stingrays. The location is close to Little Exuma which in our opinion had the prettiest beaches. The house was perfect for our needs.

Rolle Town House On The Beach

We were staying with my wife for 2 weeks at the beach house. We are experienced kayakers and we were exploring the local little islands and cays by kayak every day. We just wanted to slow down and relax, after the fast paste living in New York. We came back very happy.

Fantastic

This is a great little house with a fantastic view! It was very quiet and had everything my husband and I needed. The small beach is a few steps away and my husband and I enjoyed drinking coffee on the beach every morning. We saw a turtle and jellyfish right off the beach and kayaked to the cat right across the water. The house was clean and Samuel was very responsive. I did not want to leave and would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing Oasis

Perfect place for a serene vacation with the most spectacular view. Everything was just as described. I am booking again for next year! The location provided the perfect amount of privacy with the walkability to two great places to eat on Haulover bay. We saw turtles, baby lemon sharks, stingrays and lots of fish. It's been a long time since I have been that relaxed!

Great, secluded, frugal option south of Georgetown

Great place, while very simple, though it had most necessities. AC was available in both bedrooms (only). The kayak and chaise lounges were available for use too. The location, view, water access, etc. were simply amazing. I’d definitely return!

Rolletown retreat

Home is very much as advertised. Samuel did a good job of communicating with us. This house fit our needs very well but is definitely a bare bones simple house. Neighbors are very friendly and we will definitely go back.

Best view

We had the best time at Samuel's place. The view from the window is spectacular. There is a great little beach we had all to ourselves. The house had everything we needed and was clean and tidy. We will definitely be back! Samuel and his Uncle were very accommodating and responded to all our questions and provided assistance if needed. We used the provided kayak to go to man o war key and explore! Such fun and great location.

3rd Stay at Rolle Town Retreat!

My husband and I stayed at Rolle Town Retreat for the 3rd time since November. The area is our favorite in Exuma...the color and clarity of the water, the beaches and sandbars, the friendly locals, proximity to Georgetown, restaurants nearby. We were lucky enough to stay for 8 nights this time and enjoyed every moment of it! We come here to escape the hustle and bustle of South Florida, enjoy the outdoors, appreciate simple things, and of course...the Exuma water, nothing compares! Rolle Town Retreat checks all of our boxes! The owner and caretaker, Sam and James, are awesome, very responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back soon!!!

ROLLE TOWN

Our first day it stormed, power went out for 24+ hours. This wasnt great because it was hot but we also know that this wasnt anyones fault. We didnt travel to stay inside. We spent everyday outside in the beautiful water. The house is exactly as described. It had everything we needed with a beautiful view. The side patio had outside furniture, but it wasnt set up and wasnt clean. Samuel was nice and it was pretty easy to communicate with him. Overall we love Exuma.

Secluded Piece of Paradise

We stayed at 4 different locations during our 23 day stay in Exuma. There were 3 of us and we all agree that once you get there (which is rough)…RTR was our favorite location on the island! We LOVED spending time every day on the mostly private beach which is a short walk from the house. Used the two person kayak and paddle board to explore other islands which was amazing!! The home needs some updating but is clean and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We forgot some of our personal items at the house and Samuel, James and Mrs Beneby went out of their way to get them back to us. We would only stay at RTR on our next visit to Exuma!

Restful Paradise

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rolle Retreat. Samuel and Uncle James were both very helpful and communicative, and the check-in process was easy. The house's private beach and having access to a kayak to explore Man-O-War Key and the surrounding sandbars right from the house, was such an amazing bonus. We saw turtles, rays, small sharks, and lots of fish. If you are looking for a simple, restful retreat this place is perfect. Exuma is small but we'd highly recommend renting a car (Uncle James can help with this) as the retreat is not walking distance from anything. A couple of things to expect – Get some water before you go to the house as you need to bring in your own water. There are large bottles to refill and a pump there. Also, the power will go out once in a while. It never went out for long but it did go out a few times while we were there. Watch for potholes if you do drive, especially at night. They could swallow your car. All and all, we'd definitely come back!

5 Star Location at a Great Value!

We rented this property for four nights in November. The home is no frills, clean and comfortable, with all the basic amenities one would need. The AC works great in bedrooms and we always had nice hot showers! The best part was the fantastic quiet location and private beach. The area is very very safe with the property manager, James, living just around the corner in the charming historic village of Rolle Town. The owner, Samuel, was very communicative, helpful and quick to respond. There is a two man kayak to explore the natural reserve of Moriah Harbour with it’s breathtaking beaches and sandbars. Recommend bringing a dry bag and dry cooler bag to spend the entire day taking in beauty that awaits. Georgetown is only about 10 minutes away. There are also a couple of restaurants within minutes. James has a very nice small SUV for rent, which we definitely recommend. If simplicity, nature and good value is your thing look no further! We are already planning a return in March. Thank you Samuel and James!!!
