Our stay at Robert’s home was perfect- the views from the home overlooking turtle bay are gorgeous. The home was very spacious, had everything we needed. Check-in was very smooth, the home was easy to find. We enjoyed having the pool. The neighborhood was very quiet, safety was never a concern. We are already wanting to return and will definitely stay again!

Perfect location on the island! Close to Georgetown and all of the best restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay so much! It was my first time to exuma and we loved every minute of it! The house was perfectly located and close to all the markets and restaurants.

The perfect getaway

Beautiful views from the balcony, a short walk to the beach, and everything you need in the home. Our group rented all 3 properties and it was like our own resort. It feels like you are tucked away with no neighbors. The host Rob is also great!

Just what we needed!

The property was exactly what we were looking for. Great location, if you are not wanting to be directly on the beach, beautiful 180 views of the water, a pool and a wonderful porch to enjoy the nice Bahama breeze! Thank you for a wonderful visit.

We were very pleased with our stay in Exuma. The house is just as described, with an amazing view and a lot of room to relax. Robert was a responsive and helpful host. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a chill, relaxing vacation.

Turtle Bay House #3 Exuma

This is a beautiful, spacious and very comfortable beach house. The pool is a real treat and you can walk from the house to Hooper's Bay Beach. Cannot say enough about how wonderful this property is. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to visit Exuma.

Turtle Bay 3

Location, location, location!!! Turtle Bay 3 was so convenient to grocery stores, liqueur store, airport, several restaurants, and Georgetown. Being a couple minutes away from Hooper’s Bay and Jolly Hall was also great. Villa is comfortable and had everything that we needed. Price was also very reasonable.

A great location & holiday apartment!

This was the perfect place to stay in Exuma. Friends rented the apartment above us, which meant we could have breakfast together and plan our day. Richard and his wife were the best hosts. Ensured we had everything we needed and great advice and suggestions. Fishing being the main theme of our stay. The pool is very well kept and a lovely spot to relax when the boys went off fishing. The sandy & peaceful beach is very accessible also. The views from the apartment are beautiful and tranquil. We will be back! 😎 great advice

This was a great property for our week in Exuma. It is centrally located for going to George Town, the airport, and both ends of the island. The view is beyond beautiful. It fells very spacious inside. We loved the wide covered porch. The apartment has just about anything you would need. Communication with the owner was good. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Exuma.

We stayes for 4 nights and everything was clean and stocked. We discovered the Prime meats place was a great place for deli meats and veggies. Lots of fun experiences with different animal encounters that made the trip extra special. Looking forward to coning back

Second Stay

The place is so great we decided to return a second time! It doesn't sit right on the beach but you cannot beat the view and the perfect location to explore the entire island.

Excellent location

We loved the property and the owner was great! He came over right away when the AC stopped working in one of the bedrooms. He fixed it within minutes and we were back in business! He was very friendly and gave us lots of great information about the island. I would recommend the property for families, the pool was beautiful!

Do yourself a favor and stay here!

I had the privilege of staying at Turtle Bay House 3 as a solo traveler and it was perfection. It is spacious and beautifully appointed. The views alone are worth the price; a wraparound deck with lovely furnishings makes it easy to enjoy them. The owners' spectacular artwork, collected during more than 15 years in Malaysia and Hong Kong, adorn the interior. Furthermore, I felt like I had a private pool during my entire stay as other guests spent most of their time exploring the island; again, the views from the pool are breathtaking. Loved the convenience of a washer and dryer. The bed was comfortable. The wifi was super strong - I could easily stream music. The location is unbeatable, just a 10-minute ride from the airport, and about a 40-minute drive to the southernmost tip of the island, a half hour to the northernmost. But you could go without a car rental; there are grocery stores and beaches within easy walking distance. Though the house is on a hill, so you have to negotiate a bit of an incline. The cherry on the sundae of the experience was the kindness and generosity of Robert, who owns Turtle Bay with his partner. For instance, when I didn't have butter and the stores were on the verge of closing, he brought over enough to last me my trip, as well as a bottle of wine. Also, he allowed me to stay much later than checkout as due to a late flight. Hands down, Turtle Bay is the best value of the island and I hope you have the opportunity to stay here.

Exuma Paradise

The views of the ocean from their house were incredible beyond what a picture can capture. This made the vacation relaxing, peaceful and calm. The 360 wrap around porch, the outside sitting area, the table for eating and the pool provided so much space to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and privacy. The 2 bedrooms were separated by the kitchen and had full en-suites and separate doors to the outside porch. The beds, down pillows and linens made for a great nights sleep. All the large screened windows and glass doors allowed a great view from inside to the ocean. There were air conditioning units in each room. Being elevated with a nice breeze we did not need the A/C. The kitchen was well equipped and the fridge with filtered water and ice maker was a great bonus. The location of this house was superb. You wouldn't need to rent a car if you didn't want to explore. Hoopers Bay beach is a short 5 min walk with chairs, umbrellas and coolers provided. Smitty's groceries/pharmacy and C+K liquor stores are a 15 min walk and have a great selection. Prime meats at the bottom of the laneway has groceries and has fresh meat and roast chickens. Mikes next door is great for pizza and wings. The owners Carla and Rob are fabulous, friendly and very helpful. They were always quick to respond to our questions. An information email and binder at the house was very useful. Thank you Carla and Rob for an amazing experience.

Exuma is the paradise of uncountable shades of blue along with beaches so beautiful they do not look real. When I was planning this trip I knew I needed to find the perfect place for us to stay and I did. I’ve never been disappointed with a VRBO rental but I cannot recall being this delighted with one. Everything from the flower pots and surrounding gardens all the way down to the layout of the space and the comfortable furniture is a delight. Whomever decorated this charming place has exquisite taste. I hardly know where to start. Rebecca waited patiently for us at Smitty’s while we took the only wrong turn out of the airport exit and was gracious when we finally met up. The property is very conveniently close to the store but It’s clear why guests are met upon arrival as the drive is unmarked and unassuming. Once we reached the top and saw the sea and the pool we were speechless. All the photos do not do this property justice! The open main room that includes a thoughtfully and beautifully designed kitchen, dining room and living area is enhanced by the blue ocean that can be seen by every window and French doors that lead to the incredible wraparound porch. The kitchen has lovely granite countertops and a built in GE stove that is the best. The sink is huge with a handy spray attachment and a dish drain basket that keeps the counter neat while everything dries. The entire space was spotless, which can be hit or miss with rentals that turn over quickly. The bedroom we chose had a gorgeous wood sleigh style bed that was very comfortable. The AC worked perfectly and the remote meant if you were too hot or cool during the night you could adjust without getting up. Hot water was plentiful and filtered; very easy on the skin and hair. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the morning and having our dinners out there since there is very comfortable lounging and dining furniture - it is quite spacious. The property is virtually without bothersome insects. We did not have any issues with mosquitoes or any other bugs that are typical of tropical locale. Being close to Turtle Bay is a real treat! This rental provides bags, towels and chairs for the beach as well, minimizing the bother of sand crusted gear. There is a washer & dryer onsite so you can pack your luggage full of clean clothes before you leave or dry your swimsuit quickly if needed. The time we spent in the beautifully designed pool was so enjoyable. We definitely hope to return!

Incredible Stay!

Wonderful, huge apartment centrally located on the island. Beautiful decor and extremely well maintained and clean. Incredible view from the wrap around balcony. Fully equipped kitchen; even had a dishwasher! The hosts, Rob & Carla, were the best. They were easily available for questions, advice and to address any problems. Will definitely stay here again!

Lots of space !

Unit was huge ! Loved the high ceilings and open floor concept, huge wrap around patio. Loved the pool ! Also was able to see the turtles via host and that was amazing ! Would definitely stay here again !

Wonderful Vacation

Vacationing in Exuma was AWESOME! Every one of the local residents were absolutely wonderful and kind! A beautiful place. We will be back, but may book a place on the sand beach next time. Great view, but NO beach access at Turtle Bay House.
