Stunningly Regal Lake Travis Island Condo with lakeview!

Condo is located on the quite side of the island, and has a beautiful patio with an amazing view of the main body of Lake Travis, overlooking the gorgeous landscape. It is fully furnished, with the space designed to accommodate up to 4, with a king size bed and 2 foldable twin beds (stowed away in air-condition closet). Enjoy access to free covered parking, pools and hot tubs, dry saunas, fitness center, spa and massage services, restaurants, tennis, picnic/grill spots, great quality golf course, wineries, marina, biking/hiking trails, etc.
Boat slip is also available on request for additional cost of $50 per night.

The Island on Lake Travis is a breathtaking beautiful, serene, and luxurious villa in Lago Vista, TX. It is a perfect getaway for relaxation, water-crafts/leisure, adventure, honeymoon, events, etc. It is very safe, with friendly residents.

Lago Vista is nestled in the gorgeous Texas hill country. You will love its sub Mediterranean-like environment, with surrounding attractions including amazing parks & campsites ( Arrowhead point park, Arkansas Bend park, Balcones Canyon lands National Wildlife Refuge, etc.), hiking trails, golf courses, wineries, marinas/water crafting, etc.

You'll have easy access to Round Rock, Cedar Park, Austin ( ~36 miles), etc - all bigger cities with an outstanding array of shopping, entertainment, etc. Marble Falls is only ~33 miles away, and is a beautiful and scenic drive through several parks and reserves.

NOTE THE FOLLOWING:
1. You MUST declare the exact number of guests that will be staying in the unit, and must not exceed the number stated in this listing. Our HOA has strict rules regarding this and charges penalties for such violations, which would mean an instant loss of your security deposit. Please, do not assume this can be bypassed in anyway!

2. We operate a "no-contact" check-in process, therefore, will require a security/damage deposit of $250 prior to your arrival. Security/damage deposits are automatically refunded within 7 business days after your stay.

3. Also, note that pictures may not reflect most current lake levels considering adverse weather conditions.

The condo was nice, the amenities were ok. The bedroom tv was a little small. I wish we had been given a lake view. But overall we had a nice experience, celebrating our first anniversary.

Excellent Place to Stay

The interior was exactly as pictured. The condo was spotless. The check in process and directions were easy to follow for a seamless process. I highly recommend this listing to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway in the area. Communication with our host was top notch and responses were detailed and prompt. Staycation

The property is amazing. My boyfriend and I just wanted to get away for a day from the city. The views are breathtaking. The condo was perfect for what we had planned. Definitely will be returning for a much longer stay!!

False advertisement

I know we have no control of Mother Nature but this is not a lake front property as advertised. The lake was low and couldn’t be seen from this property. Also, property is overdue for upgrades including the 18 inch (or similar) TV in the master bedroom.

NO "Lakeview"! Host Lied!

The view is of a DRIED Up lake bed, which hasn't held water in YEARS! The place needs a reno--broken blinds and windows. Filthy floor will turn your socks black. Intermittent wifi.

Would not recommend!

We experienced so many problems during our stay. From the TV in the living room not working, to the water being cut off unexpectedly, to being told to shut off the AC unit until further notice due to a plumbing issue. I can say I never had these issues staying at a hotel. Not to mention there is no LAKEVIEW from the condo. The tv in the bedroom is as small as a laptop. The “leather” ottoman in the living room is peeling in several places. And the couch smells like cat urine.

Had a couple issues

For one no lake to look at which wasnt such a big deal. We only had 1 towelfor each of for 3 days. In door pool was closedfor issues that was important to me. Went to out door pool it had no handicap access. My husband and i are both on walkers. Beautiful property. Only thing the condo could use is master bath remodel.

Accommodating Hosts

Obi and Loretta did a great job making our stay a pleasurable one. While the value was good, the accommodations in total fell short of our expectations. The overall condition of the condo complex is in decline; the unit we stayed in is overdue for some updates and TLC (especially the furniture and master bath shower).

Lago Vista trip

We needed a place for just one night and did not want a hotel! This was the perfect location for us. The condo is clean and relaxing with the outdoor patios. The property is beautiful - we took a walk at dusk and had a dozen deer and a few ducks following us around. We loved it.

July 2022 Lago Vista

We were pleased with the ease of getting into the gated property and the check in process. We arrived a little early (3:30pm), but we were not able to get through the gate until 4pm. This is stated in the information provided and is a precise time. The unit could use a good cleaning. There were large cobwebs in the ceiling corners. Kitchen wall above sink was splattered with food and drink. Cleaning is clearly done around items/furniture, and not thorough. We were never able to get the TV in the unit to work. It is a Roku TV and is seems there were connectivity problems with the WiFi. The online listing is technically accurate. The decor is nice and shows well in pictures. The host provided a "red book" with useful information about the property and surrounding area. The book needs to be updated (several restaurants listed were closed). We could not find pool towels that (according to the red book) were in the bedroom closet. The owner let us know they are not provided according to information we received in an email. The location is about 50 - 60 minutes outside of Austin. This was a bit farther than I realized, but the drive was pleasant. Lago Vista has a Starbucks, Dollar Store, and a grocery store nearby. We were most disappointed with the communication with the property manager the morning an alarm was going off at 5:43am! I believed it to be a dead battery in a smoke detector. I messaged at 5:43am and again around 7am for assistance. I knew there was not a ladder in the unit to resolve the issue ourselves. My sister eventually found that the alarm was from the carbon monoxide detector plugged into the wall around 8am. We had not had any response from the PM. I notified them that she had found the alarm and unplugged it. I asked if we needed to be concerned about the CO2 detector going off. I did not receive a response. Finally, my sister and I decided to check out of the unit 2 days early and head to Austin. We left the unit around 10:30am and still had not heard from the PM. I requested a refund for the 2 nights we were not staying. Finally, after notifying the property manager that we had left and why, we had a response around 11am. My request for a refund was denied. I was also told that the hours I contacted were unusual. I agree that 5:43am is unusual, but so is waking up to an alarm. I am also not sure what hour of the morning would be usual since we did not get a response until 11am.

Relaxing get away.

This was a great place to stay on Lake Travis! The condo complex is very nice with two large pools and is lakeside! I'd definitely stay here again.

Excellent!

Very spacious condo, with two bathrooms (1 full with jacuzzi tub and shower) and one half bath off the living room. Two balcony/patio spaces with seating. Overall building is well landscaped and clean, however we were there in March so only outdoor pool/hot tub worked. Place was excellent overall. Host provided very clear instructions for parking, navigating to condo, and dining recommendations.

Will be back!

We had a great time and will be back! The cupboards are outdated. Communication was slow with the owner. The balcony and location was amazing. Need more blankets for the beds in closet. The wallpaper was very pretty but was coming off the wall. Very clean place but needs some TLC.

Awesome stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was perfect for what we were looking for. We drove into Austin for the day, about 50 min drive. Honestly, we wished we had just stayed there in town. There were deer everywhere which was an added awesome bonus that we weren't expecting. Had a little trouble finding a trash chute and the people above us were loud late into the night but everything else was great.

Comfortable, but could use some work

We found the condo to be comfortable and quiet. We used it as a launch point for day trips to Austin, but in hindsight, the 45-60 minute drive in to the city was a bit long (obviously no fault to the property here). The condo could use some work. Cabinets are in need of refinishing/replacement, dishwasher’s lower rack is broken, wallpaper is separating/bubbling, and all walls are in need of a coat of paint. The only laundry on site is a set of coin-operated machines. There was no change machine, so make sure to bring quarters. It was obviously low season (October) as the complex was relatively deserted. No staff on hand to consult for issues like the workout room having its A/C permanently set to 78! The restaurant and spa were closed (again, no fault to the specific condo here).
