Recientemente remodelada y completamente restaurada, esta es una de las casas más hermosas de la ciudad de Mariposa, ¡y está a solo 35 minutos en auto de la entrada del Parque Nacional Yosemite!

Histórica y bellamente restaurada casa colonial española, ubicada en el corazón del distrito histórico del centro de Mariposa. A solo unos pasos se encuentran los increíbles restaurantes locales y las tiendas exclusivas del centro que realmente hacen de esta ciudad de la era de la fiebre del oro un destino maravilloso.

Disfrute de un hermoso viaje al Valle de Yosemite desde Mariposa a través del cañón del río en la California Scenic Highway 140.

La casa ha sido bellamente restaurada manteniendo sus cualidades históricas. Está recién reformado y tiene tres habitaciones con camas king size. Una sala de sol / juego ofrece espacio adicional para dormir. También se proporcionan colchones de aire adicionales y almohadillas plegables cuando se solicitan. Para los cocineros, una cocina gourmet ofrece nuevos electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y está completamente equipada con todas las herramientas y aparatos necesarios para preparar comidas. El comedor tiene una mesa ampliable con capacidad para doce personas. La sala de estar tiene una chimenea de gas para brindar calidez y atmósfera, así como un televisor de alta definición de 64 pulgadas con DirecTV, y dos sillones reclinables, un sofá y un sillón de dos plazas. Los baños han sido completamente remodelados con acabados de granito y travertino con duchas.

El patio exterior es espacioso y ofrece privacidad a solo unos pasos del centro. Hay dos mesas de travertino con capacidad para doce y una mesa de fogatas para sentarse al final de la noche mientras se relaja y hace s'mores. Un nuevo tubo caliente de siete personas y 120 chorros también se encuentra en el patio

Such a beautiful property and so well stocked. This was the best supplied house I've ever rented. The hot tub was great after a long day at Yosemite. We liked the house so much that we cancelled 2 dinners out to stay and cook to enjoy the house. Brian was quick to respond to any questions we had and gave us great suggestion for restaurants in town. I would definitely stay here again.

This property exceeded our expectations! We were visiting to explore Yosemite and we wish we had more time to spend at the house and in Mariposa. Unlike many rentals, all of the things you’d need in the house to get started were there. The house was very clean and you can tell effort has been put into the details. We really enjoyed the court and played pickleball nightly. We taught our kids to play chess on the lovely chess table. The location was perfect for our needs. We walked to The Grove, Happy Goat, the bbq joint, and Sticks. All were fabulous. Also great was the local grocer - Pioneer Market. Hosts were great too. An all around great stay that flew by!

Loved this beautiful house! We used it as our base to visit Yosemite. Although it’s a bit of a drive, we enjoyed coming back at the end of the day and being able to walk to restaurants. The house itself was spacious, well set-up and very comfortable!

Fabulous property

Travelled to Mariposa for my daughter’s wedding. This house felt like home. We enjoyed time with family and friends while celebrating this momentous occasion. Had plenty of room for everyone. Loved the hot tub and fire table on the chilly nights. Enjoyed a morning of pickleball and basketball on the sport court. Location is perfect for exploring the downtown area. Loved every minute. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!!!

Consistently awesome

This is our third stay at this beautiful and lovingly cared for home. We return because of the comfort, cleanliness, style of the home and the great amenities. The owners are warm and friendly and communicate quickly and thoughtfully to any questions or needs. We highly recommend this property for families or friends. The sport court is an amazing bonus! Hiking Trip

The property was excellent for our group of hikers. The kitchen was well-stocked, which made it great for cooking meals at home. I'd happily stay at this property again, and recommend it to others.

Mariposa House

The house was at a good location. It was walking distance to everything. The features and amenities of the house were spot on plus some more. The host, Brian, was good and we had no issues. I would recommend this house to anyone who visits Mariposa.

Holiday - Yosemite visit

Brian’s house was the perfect place to stay for us as we wanted to visit the Yosemite park, but at the same time wanted to stay in a town. The house is beautiful and had lots of space. It felt luxurious. Our teens really enjoyed the sports facilities, even though it was quite hot when we were there: the basketball court, where we also played pickle ball and we had a serious table tennis competition going on. Brian was really helpful when we had some questions on using the appliances and even brought us extra ice for the freezer. Thanks for having us, we loved staying at your house.

Lovely home

The house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. It sits a short block from downtown with lots of shops and restaurants. It felt safe enough that my teens went and got breakfast on their own. It was a solid 55 mins to the Yosemite gate and 15-20 mins further into the valley. The trade off of the drive was not being stuck living with the hoards of people staying in Yosemite. Worth it imo.

Gorgeous home with all the amenities

Beautiful and spacious, this home was just perfect as a home base for Yosemite. There is ample room to kick back and relax, 2 separate dining areas outside, and we loved the big hot tub. We also really enjoyed playing pickleball on the sport court. Home is fully equipped with everything you might need and owners are very responsive. The house is also walking distance to restaurants and shops. Loved this place!

Great place to relax after days in Yosemite

This a great place to stay to have the best of both worlds; good food and small town options in Mariposa and a great jumping off point to exploring Yosemite. The house was clean, well stocked with all necessities (including my fave, soft towels and many towels). The hot tub was great after lots of hiking and it was a great place to hang out and be. Highly recommend

Favorite Vacation Home!

First of all, Brian and Bruce are the most attentive and accomodating Hosts we have experienced on our many Holiday Family VRBO trips. Then the location being in the quaint town of Mariposa with proximity to Yosemite and snow is wonderful. The spaciousness of the house, the beautiful grounds, the comfortable beds and clean showers, the ping pong and sports court where several of us got our fun and exercise playing pickleball every day, and so many other amenities like hotel quality shower items, games, kitchen supplies and equipment made this home at the top of our list as all time favorite, comfortable and enjoyable homes to stay in for a family Holiday!

Home Away from Home

This property was far and away the best home rental we have been in. It was not only a beautiful home with lots of character which was tastefully decorated, but it was exceptionally clean. The kitchen was well-stocked with all the utensils and basics we needed to cook up some relaxed vacay meals. The thoughtful additions the hosts provided, (local whole bean coffee to grind for breakfast, a plethora of books on the Yosemite area, to name a couple), made the stay extra special. It was quite hot the first few days of our stay but we still ended up using the hot tub in the late evenings which felt so good after long days hiking. We played card games at the fire table and took advantage of the ping pong table and pickle ball court, as well. I could go on and and on but I will finish by saying we would stay in any property hosted by Brian and Bruce! Not all of our family could make it this trip so we definitely want to come back. Thanks for making our California vacation so memorable and relaxing!

All the comforts of home, great stay!

This place was awesome! Well stocked, it had everything you needed, very clean, beautiful property. Great location, about an hour from the gate to Yosemite (with no traffic). We really appreciated the coffee grinder and enjoyed the local coffee beans. Beds were very comfortable.

Great house. Great location. We were very happy with the bed linens and mattresses too. Medium firm and quality linens. After hiking and rafting everyday we were exhausted and slept really well :) Don and Family

Gorgeous property, great location, awesome host

We had such a wonderful stay in this charming and beautifully restored home! The property is simply lovely and in a convenient location to walk into Mariposa while also feeling like a luxurious private retreat. We used it as a "home base" to explore around Yosemite and it was a relaxing space to return to after each day of adventures. The beds are very comfortable, and the house is well-equipped with everything we could need, especially in the kitchen. We also enjoyed the hot tub and my kids loved the sports courts. Best of all, Brian is the most responsive and accommodating host I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Thanks for an excellent stay!

Base camp for adventure

We stayed with friends and our children and had a fantastic time. It is an hour drive to Yosemite and after a long day of hiking this home is just what’s needed to rest up.
