The Stewart is Perfect!
The Stewart was everything we needed and more! Every morming but one, when we woke up, there was a herd of elk grazing in the valley outside our window. Absolutely breath taking every time. We did not realize it would be so cold at the elevation so early in the year and we were extremely grateful for the fast acting heat they have in that cabin. Exceptional! The bed was comfy and we used the second bed to prep for our next day venture into the park. For the two of us, it was the perfect size to stay organized. We made breakfast, packed a lunch and brought it in our cooler and came "home" and made dinner every day we stayed and it saved us so much money! It was lacking a bit in the kitchen utensil department but we were grateful to have a kitchen at all. Erin was super helpful when we needed to do laundry and we couldn't have been happier. She was great and so was the Stewart. 100% would stay here again, sorry it took so long to review! This rental is worth it!!
Nice cabin! Beautiful view! Very clean!
Very nice to come "home" to each evening after visiting Yellowstone!
Would Stay There Again
The Stewart is a lovely cabin that was VERY clean and had everything we needed. We loved the view from cabin and how close it was to Shoshone Forest. We made use of the kitchen for several meals. We would definitely stay with Erin/Brad again. They promptly answered emails/texts and helped out when we had questions.
Excellent location for exploring the greater Yellowstone region.
Very comfortable cabin in a great location. The perfect spot to "base camp" for excursions into Yellowstone and the Sheshone valley. Brad and Erin thought of everything and were always available for any needs we may have had. The property has gorgeous views and is well kept. We stayed four nights and would definitely stay again when we return to the Yellowstone area. We will be recommending this property to anyone we know that would be traveling this way.
Clean, had what we needed. A pizza pan would of came in nicely one night as we had no tinfoil.
The view from outside and inside is outstanding! Many people coming out of Yellowstone stop to take a picture. The drive into the park was great. Beautiful! We saw Elk one morning across the field from cabin. Could use a new gas grill, was alittle scary. Dvd player in t.v. did not work. Other than that, so perfect!
Everything you need. Great Value!
I hesitate to give my review because it's such a great little secret. If I give my honest review, then it may not be available the next time I want to book it. :) Buuut....Brad and Erin deserve the praise. So I'm compelled to be honest.
First, I'll start by saying I spent hours, days, even weeks searching all possibilities around Yellowstone. This is by far the BEST deal in the area. We had the comfort and privacy if having our own kitchen, which is waayy better than a hotel. To start, I will give the only suggestion I have to offer. The mattresses could use replacing as two people sleeping together always roll to the middle. This was with both beds (we made our kids trade us, one was better than the other but they both sag in the middle). Still, we slept as good as we do away from home.
This place is perfectly located between Yellowstone's East Entrance and Cody. We picked up groceries on the way in through Cody and were set for the week. Just 20 minutes to Cody but it felt so much closer with the beautiful mountain views and the lake (and Buffalo Bill Dam) to drive along. The drive to the Yellowstone entrance was about 1/2 hour and then once you are in Yellowstone, you have another 1/2 our to 45 minutes drive to get to the main "figure 8" of Yellowstone. So you have about an hour to an hour and a half to get into the heart of Yellowstone but it's worth it! The drive is so peaceful and serene. Most of the wildlife we saw in Yellowstone was on the east entrance side and we would never have seen it if we hadn't stayed at The Stewart.
Brad and Erin were very accessible at all times during the booking and while we were in Yellowstone. They never bothered us unless we asked for something but it was all just a phone call (or a quick walk over to the restaurant) away. I'd call in the morning requesting clean wash cloths, leave them on the door and when we arrived home that evening they were replenished. They also have a plethora of items available if you can think of something you need but don't have. We were able to buy ice from the store several times and Brad even threw in an extra bag for free. May not sound like much but it's these little extras that make you feel at home and it's really appreciated. All in all, it was the perfect "home base" for our Yellowstone adventure. I just hope that everyone reading this review doesn't book because it may not be available for me when I want to book again! :) Thanks Brad & Erin!

Additional information about rental rates
We accept Cash, Credit Cards and Checks Cancellation Policy Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to your cabin reservation will result in the refund of your deposit less $25 per day for each day reserved. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to your cabin reservation will result in the forfeiture of your entire deposit. Pet Fee - The pet fee is $35 for one pet per stay. With pets I ask that they not be allowed on the furniture or bedding. It is extremely difficult to get the pet hair off. Also that they not be left in the cabin unattended unless they are in a crate. Unfortunately I have guests that disregard this. If that happens the pet fee is doubled. Thanks for your understanding!
