The home was very nicely laid out, clean and comfortable. The cookies when we arrived was a very welcome and yummy surprise!Wish we could have had a view of the lake from the house but the area all around felt very secure and relaxing. We would recommend this host and property.

Beautiful property, spacious and well appointed. There is no direct lake view, but a private dock with Kayaks is just down the street in easy walking distance. We loved the privacy of the property, with a fire pit, games, and outdoor patios. Swimming and kayaking were wonderful, clean and clear lake water. Our host Laurie was lovely and took great care of us.

Beautiful, incredibly well-appointed spacious home in the woods that is just a couple of minutes walk to Lake Merrymeeting, NH. Clean. Hostess allowed slightly early check-in and provided a pie for us to share. Lovely gesture

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this vacation home! We traveled with four young teenagers, and the upstairs loft, bedroom, and bathroom were perfect for them. They absolutely loved having their own space, and the board games, lawn games, ping pong, and foosball table were huge hits.The privacy of the property made it so easy to enjoy our time together. We spent evenings on the deck, around the fire making s’mores, and playing yard games. It was exactly the kind of relaxing family vacation we were hoping for.The home was incredibly well equipped. We truly only needed to bring groceries and fishing poles—everything else we could possibly need was already there. We spent hours enjoying the lake, the dock, and the kayaks. The kids had a blast catching fish with nets close to shore, while my husband caught many larger fish from the kayak and right off the dock.Laurie was a wonderful host. She was great about answering all of our questions before our week-long stay and was accessible throughout our visit whenever we needed anything.We had such a fantastic week and honestly could not have asked for a better vacation home. We will definitely be returning!

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend getaway with our adult children & their spouses. The property was beautiful and spacious inside and out. Laurie was an exceptional host. She was very helpful and accommodating. She even brought us a pie. We would definitely reccomend staying there.

Relax and recharge!

The house was extremely clean and well maintained. The property owner was incredibly helpful and took the time to tell us about the nearby attractions and food. Overall the time at the rental was perfect! We will definitely stay here again and recommend to our friends.

A Merry time at Merry Meeting lake!

This was the most comfortable, well-equipped and peaceful vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at. And Laurie was by far the best host! We enjoyed every minute of our time there. The beds were comfy, the setting serene, and the location- removed from the crowds but easy to get to everything - was perfect. We look forward to our next visit!

Perfect Fall Weekend

We had a wonderful weekend in NH. Laurie’s home is big and bright - very clean and well equipped. Laurie was extremely responsive before and throughout our visit and even met us at check in. We couldn’t have felt more comfortable - highly recommend this property!

Clean, updated, spacious cabin

We loved staying here. First of all Laurie was very amazing to work with and bet accommodating. The home is very clean, well kept and perfect for a group to have fun but also have their own space. We enjoyed the fact that lot was large enough that we seemed to be all alone in the woods. Will definitely be back!

Our Friends Wedding Stay

The place was cozy in the woods with plenty of privacy. The inside was open concept and spacious all around, very clean. Laurie was a great host as we kept in communication during check in and check out. We enjoy our time. David.

The home was exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained. The host was friendly, communicative, and attentive, even leaving us a thoughtful welcome gift—a delicious pie from a local bakery. Lake access is conveniently located just down a small side road and across the street. While the property itself offers only a limited view of the lake through the trees, this was perfectly fine for our autumn visit, as swimming was out of season. The location proved ideal for our itinerary, offering easy access to both the northern mountains and the coast, making it a great central base for exploring the area.

Amazing Vacation Rental

The home was like home away from home. Abosolutely beautiful home, amenitites were spot on. Extremely clean and inviting. Did not want to leave.Laurie was fabulous to work with. Defintely will rent again. An amazing hostess, with excellent open communication. Made us feel at home and even had a nice apple pie awaiting when we arrived.

Great house and great host!

What a great spot! This is a fantastic home with big, open common space and comfortable bedrooms. We stayed here for a busy wedding weekend in nearby Wolfeboro, and we regret we didn’t have more time here to enjoy the house and beautiful Merrymeeting Lake! The house was immaculate and well stocked with everything you could need. Laurie is a wonderful host, and even left us a pie! We would definitely visit again but would make sure we had more time to enjoy this great place.

Perfect place for a nice retreat!

I have stayed at a bunch of rental properties and this rental tops my list. The host really treats you like family and pays a lot of attention to the smaller details that so often get overlooked, which really helped make this an incredible renting experience. The house was incredibly clean. There are plenty of things for you to do such as relax on the dock by the water, kayak, play board games, with plenty of outdoor activity equipment as well. I would highly recommend this rental (and host!) for anyone looking for a nice relaxing place to retreat to with friends or family.
