As evening falls, gather around the fire pit for s’mores, laughter, and stories under the stars, or cozy up inside for board games and quality time together. All around perfect! Kacy was a wonderful host, very accommodating and easy to communicate with! She had lots of great recommendations for the area and even put together a little guide for us! The location is perfect! Great, clean house, right on the water! Lake front on a quiet little cove, the water so peaceful that you could just sit in your float all day but never drift too far from the dock or away from the cove, the lake so clear and clean! Beautiful mountain view down the lake! Got to use the kayaks almost every day, which we had never done before but loved and now thinking of getting our own! Tried the Stand up Paddle board, comes more natural to some than others, I'm sure. The house was very very clean!! Use of the grill and blackstone were added bonus! The fire area after a long day and screened porch was so nice at night. The table games in the basement were fun, kids and adults both enjoyed! Plenty of board games and movies to choose from too! I really appreciate how clean the house was, never felt icky in any way! Absolutely a wonderful and peaceful vacation, cannot wait to go back! Will have to stay longer next time!! Never enough time in paradise!! Kacy, thank you for sharing your home with us!!

This place has taken the #1 spot in our “favorite places we’ve stayed” list.From check-in to check-out we enjoyed our time immensely. Our kids spent about 90% of their time down on the docks or in the water. The available kayaks, tubes, and paddle board really put our enjoyment over the top. The water was crystal clear and weed-free, which was such a pleasant surprise and made swimming so enticing.We made use of the extensive card and board games. Our monopoly game was a multi-day experience! We also ended up using the VCR to watch Free Willy (had to explain a VCR to the kids!) The kitchen is just perfect and had everything we needed (plus the huge griddle outside) to cook for the week. Grocery store was only 20min away (basically a Hannaford).We had perfect weather all week so we didn’t use the air conditioner at all. The loft did get quite warm in the evening. I think a window fan would be perfect to pull the heat out and cool it down in the evening. We enjoyed using the fire pit a couple of nights.Our kids certainly enjoyed the foosball and air hockey in the basement. Overall we really really enjoyed our time here. It was secluded enough from neighboring houses but didn’t feel “middle of nowhere”. The lake was super quiet during our stay, but I’m not sure if that’s just the time of year.We 100% will be looking to book again for next summer!
