Why Roland Girffin - 435-770-4658 chose Pine Valley
Frank Snow was born and raised in Pine Valley. He passed away in 2006. He always wanted to build a cabin of his own, but was content to just visit the old homestead. We build this cabin in memory of him. We are here every chance we get. We have been exploring this area for years and hope to have many more to come.
What makes this Cabin unique
There is nothing like the views and clean mountain air in Pine Valley. We have been coming here so long that it was time to build here. We couldn't imagine a more beautiful, peaceful spot. We have huge outdoor fire pit to help enjoy the outdoors. Forest Service land is in the backyard so there is never going to be a blocked view.
Sports & Adventure Activities
Roomy, clean, beautiful views.
We enjoyed watching the turkeys and deer in the beautiful mountain setting. The home had everything we needed for ten adults.
Wonderful home in beautiful area!
We loved this home, surrounding area and town. Our family had such a wonderful time, lots to do with children, hiking, fishing and just enjoying the sunsets and the stars at night. The home was roomy with everything we needed, well stocked kitchen and rooms. Our family would definitely return again!
Very cozy, comfortable, had everything we needed!
Very nice home for our family of 14. Plenty of space for everyone and a great place for children. Pine Valley is a wonderful location and the home is located in a nice area. We were able to take hikes right out of the back yard. The home was very clean and well stocked. The beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept on. When we returned home we contacted the owner and got information on the beds so we could order one for our home. We would go back.
thanks for staying and the great review
The property was beautiful and exactly as it was described!
We loved the mountains and the locations was fun to get away. The rooms are large and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and easy to use. My only suggestions would be to have hair dryers we assumed there would be a hair dryer and had to run out and buy one. The cabin is beautiful and very cozy. I definitely would recommend it!
Wonderful Family Retreat
We so enjoyed our family getaway to Franks Dream this past week! There were 17 of us and we were very comfortable. Some of our grandchildren had never seen snow so it was fun to see them experience it for the first time. (One of them thought it was sugar until now!) There is a slight hill on the side of the house that they were able to slide down on a "swim ring".
Believe it or not the swim ring worked better than a tire inner tube that we tried! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped with cooking supplies. We loved the big table and the smaller table in the kitchen area. Lots of seating for eating and playing games. It felt clean and in good order. Our only suggestion would be to move the bunk bed that is in the hallway upstairs into a bedroom. We could have used those extra beds, but none of the kids wanted to sleep in the hallway. Loved that there were cots/foam pads available under the stairs to use. There is a very good possibility that we will want to stay at "Franks Dream" again in the future.
The Pine Valley Mountains are small range that rises, 10,365 feet out of the surrounding desert topped with thick forests of pine and aspen. Its pleasant summer temperatures and heavy forestation provide a welcome respite from the hot and arid desert below. The range has a good network of trails for hiking and horseback riding, several campgrounds and fishing opportunities.
