Tortilla Flats is located on the Yellowstone River, in the town of Gardiner. The north entrance to Yellowstone National Park. It is a newly constructed, air conditioned, modern 1200 sq ft vacation rental. Located on a second story. Large bed room with king size bed. Attached balcony, overlooking the river. One bathroom with double vanity, shower/jacuzzi tub. Open kitchen/living room. The kitchen has new appliances. Side by side refrigerator with water/ice dispenser, dish washer, double sink with garbage disposal, microwave oven over gas range, toaster, coffee maker, all utensils, pots, pans, ect. Dinning table. Living room with couch and love seat, 52' flat screen tv with premium cable channels. Including hbo, show time, Cinemax. 2 twin beds in alcove. Roll away bed. Another if needed. Large out door patio/deck off living room. Dinning table, gas BBQ grill, seating. We are centrally located in Gardiner, on a dead end street, behind the school with play ground Walking distance to all amenities. Restaurants, bars, grocery store, shops and the park. Great views of the park and river from our decks. Fall asleep to the sound of the river.

We have lived and worked in Yellowstone and Gardiner since 1979. Also owned and operated the Sawtooth Deli for 22 years. We have vast knowledge of the park and surrounding areas. And would be happy to help you any way we can to enhance your experience and stay.

Newly constructed. Spectacular views of Yellowstone Park and Yellowstone river, from large front and back decks. Great location. Easy access to park or walking and exploring the town of Gardiner. When in season have a large garden that can be shared for fresh vegetables and herbs.

It was perfect

Marie and Jim were perfect hosts. It was one of the best equipped places we have ever stayed. They thought of everything that you might need and stocked it. Especially if you wanted to cook or grill. Rooms were comfortable and it was nice to leave door open at night to hear river. There were 2 balconies to relax on. They are very close to the north entrance so it was convenient to get to the park. Marie even had a baked surprise for us when we arrived which was great after a long day of travel.

Highly recommend Tortilla Flats

We really enjoyed our stay at Tortilla Flats June 10-21. The apartment was cozy and comfortable with lots of room and very well stocked, with a great kitchen. Marie had an awesome coffee cake waiting for us when we arrived! The location was perfect for going into Yellowstone NP every day, and we enjoyed seeing and hearing the river from the balcony. Our damage deposit refund was processed the day we left. We hope to get back to Yellowstone and would definitely stay at Tortilla Flats again.

Wonderful place to stay in Gardiner

We loved staying in Tortilla Flats. The location is very convenient and everything we needed was available. Marie was available to answer our numerous questions or to just chat. Our stay was a one of our nice memories of our road trip to the Yellowstone area. I have to mention the delicious cake that Marie had left for us. It was much appreciated. We would definitely stay here again. Important to note that the Flats are as nice or even nicer than the pictures show.

Great proximity to yellowstone and lamar valley

Overall was happy. Start with the positive. Interior was well appointed, bed comfortable, gas stove, very nice inside. Close proximity to yellowstone and lamar valley was fantastic. Outside was....some what rundown and you are staying in Gardiner so it is what it is. Like I say, inside was great and we had a fabulous time but when you are in yellowstone in the winter and see like 20 wolfs on the trip....There was room for at least 6 or 7 and for the price. Enjoyed our stay

Excellent base for a visit to Yellowstone

Tortilla Flats is an excellent place to stay in Gardiner, a town that is ideally situated for a visit to Yellowstone. My brother and I stayed for three nights in September 2016. The property is on a quiet street just two or three minutes from the north entrance to the park. Marie always responded promptly and fully to my e-mail inquiries prior to our arrival and during our visit. Jim and Marie, the owners/managers of TF, live next door and could not have been more pleasant, helpful and informative. Their hospitality was first-rate (loved the cake that Marie had left us for our arrival!) We found the house to be just as described on VRBO, with nicely appointed, clean rooms and an excellent range of amenities. The beds were comfortable, the shower worked very well, and the kitchen was very well appointed for those who like to dine in. When we were initially considering a visit to that part of Yellowstone, we thought of staying at the Mammoth lodge but were unable to get reservations. As it was, after having visited Mammoth on our first day we were very glad we were staying in Gardiner, which offers a much greater range of dining options and shops of various sorts. We had no complaints about Tortilla Flats, and I would definitely stay there again if I were to return to that part of Yellowstone.

Great space, great location

Our group had a pleasant stay at Tortilla Flats. The home is clean, modern, and well-stocked with everything you might need. It's also right in town, which was nice. Would stay here again.
