Our family of five spent four wonderful nights at this cabin near Gardiner. The cabin was super clean, well equipped, and exceeded our expectations in many ways. The cabin has a ton of character, is fully furnished, has tons of dishes and everything you'd need or want in the kitchen, lots of bedding options, and lots of fun bonus features like: a piano, an old school CD stereo with lots of fun CDs to play & listen to, and a wood fireplace stocked with lots of fresh firewood! Even though it was mid-June during our stay, the evenings were chilly and we made a fire most nights. We cooked many meals in the cabin, we cooked smores outside around the firepit, and I made a fresh pot of coffee each morning while sitting on the front porch and listening to the river stream a small walk from the cabin. If you are adventurous and want to hike a bit, there is a trailhead a short distance from the cabin. We took many family hikes, 1-3 miles round trip, with gorgeous views. About the only slight mark against the cabin is the road from Gardiner is about 6 miles of some of the roughest gravel road I've ever traveled, but our minivan survived it (mostly -we had to get a tire repaired due to a drywall screw we picked up on the first trip). Overall a lovely stay, hosts were easy to communicate with and very responsive, and for a few days in Yellowstone the cabin was super convenient and a beautiful way to end and start each day.
