Outstanding!
I can’t say enough good things about this cottage. Beautiful setting. So many thoughtful amenities. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Amazing tame animals on the property that are irresistible! I miss them!! We had only a 2 night stay, but a return (longer) visit is definitely in our future.

Amazing Stay!
We just departed from our 2 night stay at Chris and Todd's charming Cushing cottage. We could not have asked for better hosts or accommodations. We're already planning our next visit. Between the quiet surroundings, the thoughtful touches, and the company of our hosts' menagerie of sweet pets - we found our happy place and can't wait to return!

Relaxing country cottage
My husband and I have stayed at Brierfield for the last 4 times we've been to Gettysburg. It's magical and relaxing! We love the animals... Rabbits, turkeys, chickens, ducks, cats and Izzy the dog! The cottage is clean, cozy and welcoming aver very close to town.

Stay in Gettysburg
The place is so clean! The sheets are soft bed comfortable it was a perfect getaway for my husband and myself! Just love sitting on the porch and watching nature and all the bunnies.

A Gem!
We really enjoyed our stay at Cushing Cottage. Everything was as described and then some. The location is fantastic, quiet and peaceful yet close to Gettysburg. Loved the animals coming by for a visit every morning! I was a little worried about them having a rooster, but we never heard him crow until after 8 a.m. (not 5 a.m.) which was fine with us. Chris and Todd are great hosts, and really go above and beyond with all the snacks they supply, which adds to the value. You'd be hard-pressed to eat/drink it all! I also appreciated not having a silly 'cleaning fee'. Overall, very pleased and hope to stay here again.

Cozy, Comfortable, and Clean
This 400 sq. foot cottage is amazing. It was the cleanest place we stayed during our 2-week trip, and it felt spacious with the way it is designed and furnished. The fun farm setting was perfect and the hostess was great in providing the little "extras" that made our time there so special.

Amazing place
We had a great time, the hosts are so pleasant and friendly and the facility is super clean and beautiful. The rabbits ducks and chickens made me feel like growing up and added to the ambiance of the country setting. We will definitely be returning.

Absolutely wonderful!
We came to Gettysburg for the 161st reenactment and this little get away cabin made the trip even more worth it! My wife loved being surrounded by all the animals and waking up to them every morning! She sat on the screened in porch and read her book just about every minute we werent out and about in Gettysburg. The hosts are wonderful people with a beautiful piece of property and were so lucky they choose to share it with the world! If we could give it more than 5 stars we would! We wished we had booked for even longer than our short stay! Really hope to be return customers in the future.

Bike Week
This is our 3rd time staying at Brierfield Cottages and every time we stay we never want to leave. Chris and Todd are just AMAZING hosts!!!’ The cottage is extremely clean and fully stocked with whatever you may need for your stay. And if you need anything Chris is always happy to make sure you get it. And of course I can’t forget to mention the turkeys,chicken,rabbits,hens,duck and most of all…Izzy the dog. I love hanging out with them especially in the mornings!!! I Can’t wait to go back for my next vacation!!! Thank you Chris and Todd for a beautiful and wonderful week at your cottage, as always we enjoyed every minute of it yet again.!!!!’

Respite in Summer Heat
We enjoy visiting Gettysburg each year and love staying at Brierfield cottages. During our most recent visit the heat index was high. Mornings and evenings, we went on jaunts around town and the battlefield. We recommend the Adams County Farmer's Market! In the afternoon, we enjoyed the shade (and animals) on the property and AC in the cottage! The gazebo and arch are nice new features. Chris and Todd (and animal crew) are just so hospitable.

An anniversary getaway
Firstly, I can’t thank Chris and Todd enough for their genuine hospitality. From their recommendations to greeting us to the little snacks left for us in the cottage, everything was amazing. When we were in the cottage, we knew we were safe as we had 4 lovely turkeys on guard at all times. The rabbits would come and visit here and there and the chickens and ducks were just and added bonus. We can’t forget about Izzy who very kindly let herself in to make sure we were good. We can’t wait til we get back again for another stay, this cottage is the reason why we will be back to Gettysburg again and obviously the wonderful hosts, Chris and Todd and their lovely gang of pets.

I can’t wait to go back! The cottage was beautiful and spotless! We enjoyed visiting with the pets and the peaceful setting. Chris was very hospitable and the cabin was stocked with treats for weary travelers. We recommend 100%!

Unique and Splendid!!
What a dream property! Little cute bunnies hopping all around, the friendliest and most amusing turkeys, chickens, ducks and dog.... it was so nice to relax and enjoy the beautiful countryside while watching all the animals. The cottage was clean and provided everything we needed. Bed and sheets were extremely comfortable too. Close to town, we enjoyed dinner out and a bike ride through the battlefields during our stay. We would love to return!

This place was more than I ever imagined!!!!
The property was so inviting and we were greeted by a fantastic host of Turkeys, rabbits, chickens and ducks! (They had us at Gobble gobble!) Owners were super nice and had an array of snacks including a bottle of wine, cheese and pastries. This place totally rocks. I hope we get to go back someday!!!

Kudos to Chris and Todd. Their hospitality and attention to the smallest detail is outstanding and are exceptional hosts. The cottage was immaculate and the setting truly relaxing. I loved waking up and being greeted by all the critters (very friendly). My only regret was I had a very busy schedule while staying there which did not permit me to really enjoy the cottage, the ambience and the I amenities. I would definitely recommend and plan to return in the near future. Thank you Chris and Todd
