Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The condo was clean with amenities as listed. There were ample necessities provided (soap, bath towels, bath tissue, dish detergent & dishwasher detergent). The condo was comfortable with easy access to the beach and pool. There are tasty dining options within walking distance. The elevator was not operating through our stay, thankfully we were on the first level. The front bedroom with twin beds was very bright at night due to exterior walkway lights and was noisy as other guests wheeled luggage past. I was thankful I packed a sleep mask and sound machine otherwise sleeping would have been challenging.

Our stay was nothing short of disappointing. The only word that I can use to describe our experience is ‘gross’.After a 6 Hour drive, we arrived late on Friday night to beds that are unworthy of sleeping on. Reviews have indicated that they are squeaky and uncomfortable. That’s an understatement. This is not only true, but simply inhospitable. Cleanliness was highly questionable. Our children found snack trash underneath the bed. We ate all of our meals at the condo in the kitchen, which was well stocked but every single dish felt like it had to be washed before we could use it. Everything simply felt gross. One review on VRBO noted that a spatula had been super glued and they were right.Closet doors are not on tracks, the furniture is stained and just gross, worn out, and uncomfortable.

This was the perfect place for our stay for 4 adults. We loved watching the cargo ships going and out of Savannah…right from our deck!

We had the best time!! The condo was clean and had everything we could’ve needed (including beach chairs, an umbrella, and even sand toys for the kids). The condo is literally right there on the beach; just a short walk and you’re right there (and the beach itself is not near as crowded as it usually is up the beach; which gave this mama some peace of mind with little ones wanting to run around). And we loved that we were close enough to all the restaurants, shops, etc but far enough that we weren’t staying in the middle of all the noise and “busy ness” of downtown. We’re already saving & planning to book here in 2026!!

Tybee vacation

We have stayed in many Vrbos..this condo was the least accommodating ..it was very dated..there wasn’t even a salt and pepper shaker..the towels smelled musty so I washed the whole 3 we had..they barely cover your body getting out of the shower..the patio furniture is covered in rust..extremely old..and the fact that they didn’t even offer beach chairs when your vacationing at the beach I felt was very poor..I wasn’t renting beach chairs. The beds are very uncomfortably and small..the master bed squeaked so much every time we moved, we kept waking each other up.The location was nice and getting in was easy but I can’t say I would stay there again.The owners need to put alittle money in updatesTo stay competitive with all the newer rentals.

Quick girls' trip

This was a perfect get away. Property is as it is described. Perfect place and close to local restaurants and shops. It is in the quieter part of Tybee which was exactly what we were looking for.

Nice and convenient location

Overall lovely spot for a vacation. Only slight negative was a slight miscommunication over a repair that had been scheduled prior to our arrival, and it was more an error on the maintenence/repair company than the rental company. Rental company staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the area.

Great location, needs improvements

Great location. Beach is so close. Pool and walkway to the beach are fantastic. Plenty of showers for rinsing off sand. Convenient elevator, although Pool years overdue for inspection. Ample parking. Spacious bedrooms. AC works well. Large fridge. Great ice maker. Convenient dishwasher. Toaster oven was helpful. Good TV options. Ample TP and towels provided. Couch and living room chairs were in serious need of a good cleaning. Lots of visible stains. The “coffee table” needs replacement. Twin bed bedding was dirty and stained. Would not sleep in the bedding. Mattresses are in need of replacement. Lumpy and beds are creaky. Master bedroom was nice but the bed was creaky. Floors were not very clean. Patio furniture rusting. Washer and dryer are in need of replacement. Could not get the washer to fill on sensor mode. Had to change setting and manually move to rinse and spin to complete a load. Sounds rusty and like it’s about to take off into outer space. Dryer does not shut off. The notification sound is insanely loud and keeps running after it sounds. When you open the door, the dryer continues to spin. Plenty of silverware, glassware, and dishes but cooking utensils leave much to be desired. One of the spatulas appeared to be glued together with rubber cement.

Comfort and accessibility

Comfortable condo with in easy access to all the things! 2 beach types to choose from, plenty of room, clean, and comfortable. The only negative was finding the rental company to get check in materials. There was note sent that the addresses were confusing but it sounded like from the rental company to the condo, or at least that was the way I took it. The rental company is what had the confusing address! Overall great trip and we had the best time!

Ideal location for family vacation

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. I'm sure we will try to get this unit again possibly in the future. Very easy to get in and out of the complex and into Tybee or Savannah. Our children loved the fact that they could see dolphins from the complex beach access. In regards to any negative items, I've left feedback for the rental company, but I'm hoping they resolve this soon for the next renters. In the front bedroom closet, on the ceiling, we found what appeared to be black mold growing. This was on the evening of final full day we were at the property. Also, the inspection cards for the elevator for our building had expired over 4 years ago. Since we were on the 1st floor we mainly used the stairs throughout the week, so that wasn't a big deal to us. Nothing is perfect, but like I said earlier, we greatly enjoyed this unit and the location, and the rental company.

First time at Tybee

We had a wonderful time at Tybee. Our condo was perfect during our stay. The only complaint about our condo is that the master bedroom frame is very squeaky with any little movement. This makes it very hard to sleep through the night.

A Great Location for our Spring Break trip!

We really enjoyed staying at Bay Villas. Check in was easy, the condo was clean and as pictured, and when we locked ourselves out of the guest bathroom, someone was there within minutes to fix the issue! Would love to stay here again!

Tybee condo

This listing was somewhat dated. Did not appear as the pictures. Several towel racks were falling off the walls along with a loose kitchen cabinet. Found a dead cockroach on the floor upon arrival which questioned the reliability of the cleaning service. Only one beach chair for 2 people. My husband had to use the folding chair. No view of ocean from the first floor balcony. Would probably not stay again.
