Pine Creek Cottage: Your Rim Country Escape

Welcome to Pine Creek Cottage, a 1,400-square-foot retreat designed for slow mornings on the deck and high-energy evenings in the loft. Nestled in the heart of Pine, AZ, our home offers the perfect blend of forest serenity and modern convenience for up to six guests and their four-legged friends.

The Space & Amenities
The Entertainment Loft: The ultimate hangout for kids (and kids at heart!). Enjoy a multi-game table featuring pool, ping pong, and shuffleboard, plus a dedicated TV area and cozy bunk beds.

Chef’s Kitchen: Skip the packing! Our kitchen is fully loaded with a spice pantry, essential oils, and cookware including pots, pans, and a griddle. We even provide local coffee, tea, and our signature homemade granola.

Outdoor Living: Relax on the wraparound deck for prime elk-watching, or gather around the fire pit for cozy evenings under the famous Gila County stars.

Restful Nights: Features two private bedrooms and two full bathrooms, ensuring everyone has their own space to recharge.

The cabin was very cozy and clean. Check in was super easy. The hosts were very quick to respond when I had a question. My 2 dogs were with us and loved the area to walk and explore. Everything was as advertised. We plan to stay again in the future.

A super comfortable, clean and dog friendly cabin. We loved the gated porch area that allowed us to let our dog out whenever, and he loved the bed, toys and treats that were left for him by the host.Great eating options nearby, but also a terrific kitchen to cook in - we did most of our eating in. The environment of Pine is quiet and beautiful.We could not have asked for a better stay and will be coming again.

We had a great experience with the Pine Creek Cottage rental! They did great with their initial rental (somehow we were the first renters!) The cottage is clean, in fine shape, and everything just *works*. Friendly notes throughout and a "renter's guide" were nice touches. We really liked the large porch, watching all kinds of wildlife. The neighborhood is nice and quiet, off the main path, virtually no traffic, nice and relaxing. But just a short 10min ride to downtown Pine for groceries/supplies, thrift stores, dining (Old County pizza!!) This VRBO is one of our new favorites; we highly recommend and would rent it again without question!

We’re the Unruh family — David, Callie, Jack, Alex, and our dog Mabel — Northwest natives who feel most at home under tall trees, on a good trail, or gathered around something delicious. After years of staying in short‑term rentals (and truly seeing it all), we dreamed of creating a space that reflected everything we love most: cozy cabin vibes, thoughtful amenities, and a place where people can slow down and breathe a little deeper.

I’m Callie, your host and the heart behind Pine Creek Cottage. I love creating welcoming spaces, tackling a good DIY project, cooking and baking, gardening, and spending as much time outside as possible. Those passions show up in every corner of the cabin — from the stocked kitchen and homemade granola to the warm lighting, local touches, and the little details that make a stay feel personal.

We care deeply about supporting local businesses, enjoying good food, finding the best hikes, and living as sustainably as we can. The Pine Creek Cottage difference is in our personal touch: a space designed with intention, comfort, and community in mind, shared with the same joy we feel every time we’re here.
