Check that the sliding door to the deck is locked and that the light switch is in the on position for the deck.
Check that the lights in the basement and bedrooms are turned off and all windows are locked in each room. The front porch light should be turned on.
Check drawers, cabinets etc for all personal items.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Due insurance regulations, we require that ANYONE who will be on the property, be included as a guest on the registration. No invitees, no exceptions!
No grease down the sink/ toilet. Do not put anything in the wet-bar sink other than water / ice. Don't flush anything but tissue, no pads or wipes.

Our family migrated to Michigan from the south when GM was hiring. We are family of educators and blue collar workers. We are full of southern hospitality and are very friendly and family oriented. We enjoy sports, playing cards and yard games.

Why they chose this property

Our mom had 12 children and taught us the hospitality business by means of always opening her doors to strangers. She moved to this neighborhood and other family members moved here to be near her. This is an established neighborhood where most are home owners and have been here over 30 years. We are working with the local churches and neighborhood organizations to host events that educate and give back to our community. We love the fact that there is a market in walking distance with fresh fruit, veggies and a nice meat selection. There are also two dollar stores in walking distance.

What makes this property unique

This home is awesome because of the peaceful surroundings and spacious living areas. The downstairs is a mini apartment and a great place for gatherings. The theater is ideal for family time. The warm fireplaces make for a cozy, romantic stay. The kitchen is stocked with seasonings and have some unique cookware for what ever meal you may prepare. Last but not least, the outside areas are superb! There are grapes, blackberries and pears on the property. There are two decks for watching the sunset or a crackling fire. Come feel the vibe that Casual Corners bring to this neighborhood and to your family and friends.
