Welcome to Your Private Oasis!
Escape to your own tranquil retreat in this quaint and quiet 3-bedroom, 1-bath rental. Perfectly suited for both short-term getaways and long-term stays, our home offers comfort, convenience, and a true sense of home away from home.

Please note: This is a no smoking and no pet property. NO EVENTS OR GATHERINGS ALLOWED. The amount of guest listed on the booking are the only occupants allowed during the stay. Our property Manger is local and can be on site if needed for any additional towels or amenities.

After each guest, the home is thoroughly deep-cleaned and sanitized, as cleanliness is our top priority. We strive to create a space that you'll want to return to time and time again.

The hospitality and attention to detail this host showed was above and beyond! We arrived late evening on Christmas day, after a 15 hour drive, to the soft glow of a lit, decorated Christmas tree, a fireplace on the tv screen, a beautifully set dining room table, and an abundance of sweets and treats. When a major snow storm was scheduled to hit 24 hours later the host arranged for snow removal and the driveway and sidewalk were cleared by 10am. This family of 5 enjoyed relaxing here at the end of each busy day visiting extended family. Great communication, thoughtful and super accommodating. We make an annual trip back to the area and this will now be our new go-to lodging. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The home was very welcoming. It was decorated very cute for the holidays and the host was great. They even left presents at the front door. All in all it was 5 stars for the effort and thoughtfulness. I feel as though there was an honest effort to make the stay accommodating and welcoming. However, to give an honest review I will say a few things that would have made it better. There was a ton of food in the fridge and freezer and although this was offered to us to use, there was not much room for our food in the fridge. Coming for the holiday, we planned to do some cooking to bring to our holiday parties. In the bathroom, there was also a ton of products again available to use, but made it difficult to find a place to put our shampoo and conditioner bottles as well as our bath sponges. There was way too much of other people stuff in the way. Lastly, I was happy to rent a non-pet friendly house due to allergies, cleanliness, and odor, but there was dog hair all over the sheets and they did not smell clean. We slept on top on the bed covers and used our own blanket to cover. I did not report and I am sure they would have addressed these issues but we did not stay long and I really feel there was an effort in the accommodations. I would stay again.

This was a really pleasant stay! An unbeatable price for this area and the location was perfect. It served all our needs. It was very quiet, we had everything we needed, and Melissa, the host, was very hospitable and communicative.We stayed here because we wanted to go to Schmitt’s Farm Haunt. It worked out really well and was very close to the farm. It’s also super close to Dix Hills Diner, which we can’t recommend enough.

We had a wonderful stay, thank you Melissa! The place was perfect for our family of with 2 adult kids and a 17 year old for a quick weekend stay. The place was clean and well appointed and the check in/check out was an absolute breeze. The neighborhood was lovely, nice and quiet as we needed this weekend. Thank you!
