Spend your days skiing right from the property, hiking nearby state parks, golfing at Superior National, mountain biking, or exploring Lake Superior and scenic Highway 61. Then return to Shared Summit to relax by the wood-burning fireplace or enjoy the peaceful mountain setting.

Pets: No pets are permitted.

Parking: Two designated parking spaces are included.

Check-In: Self check-in directly at the townhome. Your secure door code and arrival instructions will be provided approximately 48 hours before check-in.

Important Information

Resort Amenities: Pools, hot tubs, and shared amenities are HOA-managed and may close without notice. Availability is not guaranteed, and refunds are not provided for amenity closures.

Ski Access: Ski-in/ski-out access depends on Lutsen Mountains operations, weather, snow conditions, and trail availability and is outside the host’s control.

Rental Agreement: A short registration form must be completed after booking and before check-in details are released.

Cancellation Fee: A 3% cancellation fee applies to all cancellations.

Weather: Refunds are not provided for weather, environmental, air-quality, or related travel disruptions, including late arrivals or early departures. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

We had an excellent stay here! The home is clean, cozy and comfortable. The coffee and hot chocolate bar is a perfect touch, especially when paired with ease of ski-in and ski-out. Thanks again for a great time.

The resort itself is nice however the owner of this unit was very unprofessional. The unit was dirty and outdated. There were multiple problems with the unit; the AC did not work, there was no spare key in the box (our family got locked out for several hours), etc. Escape Management Vacation Rental manages this property and we have since learned that there are multiple complaints against this company; they are known for taking client’s money which was our experience as well. Rent directly from Caribous Highlands and not from here. Terrible experience.

This review is unfortunately no surprise. The property was recently renovated, is beautiful, and is accurately represented in the listing photos. These guests repeatedly attempted to leave early and obtain a full refund, offering a revolving list of reasons—from claiming the property wasn’t as pictured, to saying nobody else was at the resort, to suddenly citing a “family emergency,” and finally claiming there were bugs. We later learned that a bug-related complaint had also been used in connection with seeking a refund from their previous reservation. When we upheld the agreed cancellation policy, the guests threatened us with a negative review if we did not refund them. We refused to be pressured into an unwarranted refund, and this review followed. They have since posted additional false statements about our business elsewhere. We have retained documentation of the communications and threats made during their stay and reported the matter to the booking platform. We stand firmly behind this beautiful, recently renovated property and Escape Vacation Rental Management. We highly encourage prospective guests to research Escape, read our many guest experiences, and see the strong reputation we have worked hard to build. We also strongly encourage other hosts to exercise caution when considering a reservation from these guests.

We had so much fun visiting the area. It was fall and luckily the weather cooperated. The games and infinity table at the cabin were a hit with all of us. We would stay here again if we are in the area

Overall, this place was fantastic! Plenty of space for our family of 5, comfy beds, great kitchen, coffee bar, fireplace, use of the indoor pool/hot tub at the Caribou Highlands lodge, the infinity game table, the ski in-ski out access, Shayla our host was on top of everything, all 5 stars. A few things to note: 1. There is NOT a in-unit sauna as is stated in the title of the listing. There is no sauna at all. It needs to be taken off the listing title. Easy fix. 2. We were skiing with little kids and the ski in ski out was GREAT. You get right on the moose access trail from behind the townhouses and it is a gradual downhill ski to the Caribou Express lift on Moose mountain. My 6 year old was able to do it with a little help from mom and dad pulling him along, but if you can skate on your skis, you will be fine. It was a game changer to be able to come easily back to the townhouse for lunch each day instead of paying crazy prices at the chalet for food. It is well worth the price tag if you are wondering if the ski-in, ski-out is really worth it. It is!
