The Felten Family own and manage fifteen individual vineyard blocks of “Old Vine” Zinfandel that range in age from 35 to 117 years old. Each vineyard is planted in sandy loam soils along the Lodi Mokelumne River Region and up into the Clements Foothills. In 1996, the family began to produce Zinfandel for the bulk wine market, selling wine to a number of prestigious, benchmark producers of Zinfandel in Napa and Sonoma Counties. In 2000, Steve and Lori made the decision to start their own winery with the mission to produce exceptional Zinfandel. They continue to make wine from all of the vineyard blocks, culling only the very best lots for bottling Klinker Brick and designated vineyard wines. Other varieties produced are Petite Sirah, Cab Blend, Syrah, and Rose.

Quiet and relaxing
Wonderful time and beautiful home in the vineyards.
Great cottage. Wonderful wines.
We have stayed here before and we love it. Very comfortable and close to many wineries.
Thank you! Enjoyed having you stay at the Marisa Cottage again. We try to keep the house well stocked so you can enjoy your stay.
Always a great place
My sisters and I always stay here when we are visiting our childhood home town. Every aspect of this home is fantastic.
Just like being at Home, but better!
We came from Pennsylvania to gather with family who live in Lodi over Thanksgiving and stayed in the house for 6 days. We live in the middle of a big city so we really loved the quiet and peaceful house in the vineyard. I felt very safe there, and it is tucked away from the main road, so all you see are vineyards of the old vines. Plus some great sunrises in the day and constellations at night. You need a car, and it is about a 15 minute drive from downtown Lodi, which we really enjoyed. But it is very close to the many fine vineyards. We went to three vineyards for tasting, but I must admit the Klinkerbrick vineyard was the best wine I tasted. The kitchen had everything you could ever want to make big meals and the table has an extension to seat 8. We had a fun game night around the table after a good meal. I would suggest a curtain between the bathroom and the master bedroom to give some privacy, until the door is installed. I would stay there again.
