A picture perfect restored original cottage located inside the gates of Lakeside

This is an original Lakeside cottage beautifully restored maintaining the old Lakeside Charm but providing all of the modern conveniences the famlies of today have grown to expect. The cottage features a beautifully remodeled kitchen with modern appliances including refrigerator, range,microwave and dishwasher. The kitchen is supplied with tasteful dinnerware, class ware and cook ware. There is also a washer and dryer in an adjoining laundry room. The three bedrooms are tastefully decorated with matching bedspreads. The all season enclosed porch features a dining area and a sitting area with rattan furniture. The cottage also offers 2 smart TVs and wireless internet. The central heat and air will keep you comfortable no matter what the weather. A gas grill is also supplied. Note: there is a daily gate fee charged by Lakeside from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Check Lakeside’s website for details. www.Lakesideohio.com The cottage has two full baths.

Fun time at Lakeside

This was our first time staying at this cottage and we will consider using it again in the future. We cooked most of our meal so having the full kitchen was helpful. There was plenty of room as we used both the table in the kitchen as well as the one on the front porch. It was nice having separate room for our kids to sleep in. The master bedroom had a large walk-in closet as well as a small deck off the back (which I do not think that there is any pictures of). There was enough pillows, but sheets and towels (both bath and kitchen) are not provided. It was not clear to me when reading the listing. I would recommend using Lakeside Line Supply (lakesidelinensupply.com). You rent the linens for a week and they will delivery and pick-up your order.

The perfect place for us

We are so pleased with our stay here. It was fun to learn some of the history of this beauty. It is updated and decor is lovely. It fit our family perfectly and is a great location; close town & to our friends home. We'd love to stay here again when our family returns at some point.

Cozy, quaint, and comfy!

Beautifully decorated and updated cottage with the modern comforts of today and the ambiance of times past. Two couples can each have private quarters while sharing lovely common spaces for meals and evening chats. Ideal for our mini-family reunion!

Charming

Absolutely charming cottage contributed to one of our most enjoyable vacations. Recently remodeled kitchen and porches were lovely to share a morning cup of coffee. Dan was a wonderful host and we look forward to creating more memories here in the future.

Fantastic vacation

This is our second year coming to the Lakeside community and absolutely loved our family trip. With three young children, Lakeside has a lot to offer and our only issue was that we were not staying for longer! The property is perfect, exactly what you want when coming to lakeside. We don’t have a single complaint and loved every minute of our vacation. We hope/look forward to booking this property again the the future!

Adorable Cottage!

We've been coming to Lakeside as a family since 2019 and this is one of our favorite cottages by far! Great location, adorable decor, fantastic porch, large kitchen that is well stocked and very clean. We would definitely recommend it!

Lovely Property

Lovely, clean, comfortable property. It had everything we needed for our stay at Lakeside. We always love our time there, and this cabin was perfect. Large pantry and fully stocked kitchen. Nice clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Extremely close to town and the pool, yet quiet and peaceful.

What a surprise!

The cottage was very nice. We enjoyed it. The community was not quite what we expected, but it was still very good. Dan stopped by to see that we got settled in okay, which was appreciated. I want to note one very important thing... the community fee. No where in the listing does it note the community fee, not in the description and certainly not in the "fee" section. The email sent (after we paid) did not give the implication that there was a hefty fee required to even enter the community in addition to what was already paid. This certainly should be mentioned in the description. If people are familiar with the location, it may not matter. Coming from out of state, we certainly would have considered a different place to stay. I highly recommend the owner add something to the description like, "There is a required resort fee to enter the community from the Thursday before Memorial Day until Labor Day. Please check out the website (give website) for additional information. The rental fees do not cover the resort fee." For a family of four staying for 3 nights, we paid an additional $314 to enter the community and park at the rental. This was not optional. The community is gated. There were required parking and activity fees. The activity fees do not cover all of the activities.

Perfect cottage in town

We loved this little cottage in Lakeside. Walking distance to lake front walks, playground, mini golf, tennis, shuffleboard, restaurants, shops, etc! Owner was super friendly and helpful. Perfect rental!

Clean comfortable and relaxing stay

We aren’t new to Lakeside but this was our first and hopefully not last time staying in “Linger Here” cottage. It checked every box we had, it was spacious, clean, the beds were comfy, and it was tastefully decorated. The central air was much appreciated on the 90+ degree days and the covered porch was perfect for lounging on rainy days. We were vacationing with young children and loved that it was one story so no stairs to worry about! An added bonus was the back patio off the master bedroom which my husband and I used to unwind after the kids went to bed each night. The cottage has a great central location and overall is the perfect cottage for enjoying all Lakeside has to offer.

Marblehead is so worth it, and this little place made it better!

Plenty of room for us, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, rather nice. And so close (in the middle of!) to Marblehead and Lakeside. Highly recommended.

Like Home Away From Home!

We felt completely at home in this lovely, clean and beautifully decorated cottage! Would recommend it to anyone, and will most certainly return someday. The owners were so kind and responsive. Mrs Buckey recommended several local restaurants and, thanks to her, we had the most amazing pecan-crusted walleye at Rosie’s in Port Clinton. Thank you for a memorable stay!
