Great Renovated 4 Bedroom Home with Water Views

This comfy, family-friendly 4 bedroom house is year-round and 130 paces to the water - who can ask for more? Dine in with the fully equipped kitchen or take dinner at the shore or at one of the great nearby restaurants - amazing food and live music within 2 miles. Don't let the lack of curb appeal on the exterior scare you (we have big plans for it), but the interior of this original antique cottage was fully renovated in 2017 and ready for R&R with a spacious open floor plan and plenty of beds. Enjoy the great beach with enclosed swimming area, raft and diving board. First floor bedroom has a twin bed and faces the backyard and has easy access to the half bath. Upstairs is a large bedroom with two twin beds, a second bedroom with a twin bed and views of the water, and a large bedroom facing the front of the house with a queen bed and views of the water. In the main living area, there is a pull out sofa featuring a full sized bed. All linens provided including bath towels. Washer/Dryer. Beach chairs, kayak and life jackets. Gas grill. Cable and internet. Weekly trash pick-up. House also includes use of kayak, life jackets, 2 beach chairs, and outdoor patio table with chairs.


You'll have access to the whole house. There are no off limit zones or locked closets or cabinets.

This is our fifth summer staying here, and we couldn’t be happier! The beaches are great and there are fun options for both high and low tide. The kids love it here (especially the stash of duplos)! They can’t wait to come and are always sad to leave. Highly recommend!

Robinson Family Vacation

The house was spacious and clean. The location is outstanding for the price. We spent our time visiting friends and family as we used to live there. Lots of good seafood, pizza and Italian food in the area. Overall an excellent place to stay.

Happiness by the Shore

It was our 4th summer at this property, and it’s always a joy! We love being able to walk to great beaches. (They’re never crowded!) There’s enough room for cousins and siblings to have plenty of space to play. The whole family has a great time!

Great house for a family vacation at the beach!

Comfortable house for six people with large open concept kitchen/dining/living room. Just a block away from the private neighborhood beach with diving board, float and sand beach. Great area for walking the shore or enjoying the historic waterfront homes. We enjoyed a relaxing week in this home!

Family stay on the Indian Neck

This is our second visit. We stayed here with my family while visiting the in-laws. The house worked perfect for the 5 of us. It was well equipped and clean. The location was great and a short walk to the water. The beds weren’t made when we arrived so I would ask that they make them up next time. Overall a great stay.

Sister's Family

This property worked out perfectly for my sister's daughters and family. I live down the street and they were all back & forth so convenience was a big factor. The bedrooms were adequate but most of the beds (4 of 5) were singles. The beds could use some updating. The common rooms were large and comfortable.

Wonderful Location

It was a wonderful family getaway. The location made it easy to navigate to town and even New Haven. My little guy loved playing in the tide pools and my daughter enjoyed reading by the beach. We had a great family vacation and the house was big enough for us to spread out and feel comfortable.

Quiet, Clean Beach Getaway

Beautiful. Amazing house! Very kind hosts! Great neighborhood. Dock and Diving board outstanding! Hard to get into the water from the beach at low tide (rocky). Other nearby beaches, no problem.

Wonderful stay!

This home is a wonderful location for your next family getaway! We stayed with my parents, siblings, and our families. There was plenty of space for everyone, awesome toys for the little ones, and it was just steps from the beach! The raft and diving board was our favorite, but there is a great beach with a sandbar nearby to visit at low tide. Claudia was responsive and available if we needed it. We can’t thank you enough for a special week!

Amazing location and owner

The house is in an amazing location! Fun swimming area with diving board and floating dock and wonderful area for walking. The open living space was great for hanging out with family. Claudia was a super responsive and helpful host!

Great location

Claudia could not have been more helpful. Nice quiet street with water views between houses. Two minute walk to the beach. Outdoor seating to eat with gas and charcoal grills. Would certainly go back.

A nice place to stay

We had a very good stay here. We needed a place to stay while our house was being repaired after a fire. We wanted a place in Branford to make it easy to check on our house and this fit the bill perfectly. The house was near the beach and the neighborhood was quiet. The back yard is large and private.The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. Claudia was responsive and easy to work with. There's not much parking, but we only needed to park our two cars. All in all it was a great place to stay for the 20 days we were there. We would recommend the place for a shoreline retreat.

Linden Shores gem

This wonderfully comfortable home offers everything you need for a relaxing, and fun getaway. The spacious kitchen and living/dining room area allowed us to have a special family dinner. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Being a longtime (55years) visitor of Branford, we understand the need for being a good steward of someone’s home and appreciate the opportunity to Relax and enjoy. Claudia was very responsive before, during and after our stay and a gracious host. One of our most enjoyable stays, which says a lot! Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

Great family house in beautiful neighborhood

Really cute house in a nice friendly neighborhood. Restaurants within 1/2 a mile and beach right across the street. Had 2 families with young kids staying and the configuration plus the extra pull out bed worked great. Was very, very hot when we were there. Glad for upstairs AC units. Owners have done a nice job remodeling with a mix of old and new. Bathrooms are especially well done. Would stay again!

Beautiful Home and Neighborhood

We stayed here last week, and enjoyed ourselves very much! The community is lovely and everyone is so friendly. The home was clean and cozy, and in close proximity to the beach/picnic area. There is a sandy beach, but with a rocky bottom, so I would definitely recommend water shoes for the kiddos. The diving board was a lot of fun! Claudia was extremely responsive each time we contacted her, and after we forgot all of our beach towels in the dryer, she was kind enough to mail them, at our request. We were able to take in some of the CT sites as well, with the nearby Trolley tour/ride and a visit to Beardsley Zoo. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our time here very much!

The Linden Shores area of Branford is unbeatable in CT for its incredible wrap-around views and amazing Thimble Islands. We're still close to everything, so feeling isolated isn't a problem here. There is so much to do - museums, great shopping, breweries, wineries and excellent restaurants, all within a short drive. We hope to retire here, but until then, we're sharing it with others. We live about 25 miles away, so we're handy should anything come up during your stay. I'm a licensed realtor, so I have flexibility to help out as needed.
