The Windjammer Condominiums located ocean front on 46th street offer that wonderful retro Ocean City feel providing the perfect setting for a memorable visit to Ocean City, Maryland. This 3rd floor walk-up one bedroom, one bath unit can sleep four with a queen in the bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. A one-of-a-kind family vacation destination, each unit is individually owned and decorated offering the guest a unique feel and comfortable stay, with direct beach access and ocean views. Enjoy the exclusive private sand patio for grilling, picnics and play, free WiFi, flat screen TVs. Our condos are stocked and ready for you with towels, linens, cookware and utensils. Don't pass up on the chance to stay at your home away from home at the beach! This unit permits up to two dogs, 50 lb limit for one pet or 70 lb combined limit for two pets. There is an additional $35.00 per day pet fee. Although pets are allowed all season, absolutely no pets are permitted on the private sand patio courtyard. There is a designated pet area supplied with waste bags just a minute's walk away. Property rents any two nights!
An on-site laundry room is available for guests at no additional cost from 9am to 5pm.
Non-Smoking/Non-Vaping Property owner does not permit group rentals to guests under the age of 25.

Everything was beautiful, and the view was great, the room was clean and spacious enough for us. But it is called “Pet friendly” but dogs were not allowed on their sand patio which was odd nor was my dog allowed on the beach. The “Pet area” was a line of grass for them to use the bathroom. So maybe it should be listed as “Pets allowed” as opposed to “Pet friendly” since dogs really aren’t welcome anywhere on the property except the room

Would stay here again!

Location, staff, and view were excellent. We were so happy it was dog friendly. Everything we needed for a weeks stay was on hand. Toilet ran constantly, and the sofa could be updated. I still would recommend.

Pictures on listing

1. The pictures on the listing look like a private balcony. Wrong it is a shared walkway not a balcony. TV had no sound. Called they said someone who come by No! The bathroom is falling apart. Titles are taped to hold them up.

Comfy Condo

The Windjammer is right up on the beach and has it's own little sandy courtyard. Its location is great as it's a short drive to most OC hot spots. We will book here again the next time we come up!

The condo was clean and we were right on the beach. No frills, no bells, no whistles, but everything you NEED to have a great weekend.

Disgusting

I rented this Ocean front Condo for my mother, 9 month old son, and myself. The check in process was very easy however, when we arrived the condo and absolutely disgusting. The photos listed must have been taken 10 years ago. When we arrived at our condo there was a musty smell. The air conditioner is in the wall and made and awfully loud noise making it very hard to have any type of conversation in the living room. The floor had not been cleaned. Our feet were black just from walking around bare foot. My baby sons pants and hands turned black from him crawling around. But the worst part was that the blue couches were DISGUSTING. It was very clear that someone had thrown up on one and left body fluid on the other. The couches smelled so bad like body odor we could not sit down. There was also a very loud party going on in the "shared" sand courtyard making the courtyard unavailable for other residents. They played extremely loud music from 8:00pm-12:00am. My son cried the entire time because he was so exhausted from the noise. We were right on the ocean but could not hear it or open our windows because of other guests being so loud. When we reached out to the property manager we were told "well Ocean City is nicknamed Party City" they do not enforce noise ordinance or other guests being rude and hogging the courtyard. The description for these condos are inaccurate. They are not family friendly.

Perfect for a couples get away!

The property came with sheets and towels and a fully stocked kitchen with utensils, coffee pot, blender, etc. The AC was lowered to 68 just so we could cool down the space and had to sleep with the bedroom door opened to feel the air. Loved the vibe of the location, view of the ocean and the private beach access! Would definitely stay again!

Oceanfront

Lovely sand patio with entire complex overlooking the ocean. Very relaxing (quiet area) and beautiful views. Not too hot while we stayed, so we had windows open to cool ocean breezes - could use 2 working ceiling fans and small dishwasher. We had a great stay.

Beautiful Location!

When we arrived, we were somewhat concerned because the property was very dated. The couches needed to be replaced. However, upon further inspection, the place looked clean. The towels and sheets were wrapped in plastic so we knew they were clean. The kitchen was well-equipped with a full size fridge and stove. The view of the ocean was spectacular. Accessing the beach was a breeze. We could walk to restaurants and entertainment. It was an easy drive to the boardwalk.

Stunning Views

We enjoyed three nights at the Windjammer and couldn’t get enough of sitting out on the balcony watching the ocean! Things we loved: neighbors were super friendly, free parking and laundry facilities, well outfitted condo, and great location.

Overall Good for the price!

Overall, it was a great location, and a classic old school beach vibes. Nothing fancy, but we didn't mind as we barely spent any time in it, only to get ready and sleep. Everything was tidy and clean. We loved the fact that we were right on the beach. We ended up using a queen sized air mattress instead of the pull out couch due to some of the reviews, and it fit perfectly in the space, with a tiny bit of walking room to enter and exit the condo. The bedroom doesn't have AC, and the plugs kept blowing a fuse if more than 1 person was trying to blowdry or curl their hair. We just took turns and it became a non-issue. If you aren't looking for frills, and don't mind the outdated vibe, this is a comfy, safe place to stay, right on the beach!

As expected

I read the reviews and understood that I was getting a condo that would be fancy. The condo was clean and comfortable. I read that the bedroom would get hot but I didn’t experience that…it was fine. Location was amazing. Parking was easy. Check in was quick and easy. I’d gladly stay again.

Great Location

This was a great location near restaurants. So nice to look out onto the ocean from the balcony and easy access to the beach. Very clean rental with all amenities needed.

Out dated could definitely could use upgrades, pull out mattress was not good could feel all the springs, wouldn't be able to manage another night laying on it and fan in the room was very loud and moved a lot but was needed due to the bedroom being very warm. Over all, was a great location perfect for a nice short few day trip with kids. Nice outside area for kids to play in the sand away from the ocean in the evening, picnic tables for easy out side eating and swing to relax on.

Adequate for a short beach weekend

This property's location is one of the best. The complex itself is run down and the condo needs to be updated. I had read the reviews prior to coming, so I knew that it was older. Although older, it was clean. The TV didn't work most of the time in the living room, but we were not watching TV anyways. Did bring a fan for the bedroom, which helped tremendously keeping the room cool while sleeping.
