Pješčana uvala is a settlement which, just as the name suggests (meaning sandy cove in Croatian), is situated along a beautiful sandy and pebbly beach. The shade of beach umbrellas and dense tree tops make it a perfect place for a longer stay for the whole family. Owing to its crystal-clear sea, it is a favorite spot for children and beginner swimmers. There is also a seaside promenade with numerous catering facilities and a variety of tourist offers.

The surrounding offers variety of activities: beach wally, water sports, coffee bars, beach bars, restaurants.
The vigorous city center with colorful green market, various shops, cafe's and restaurants is 500 m distanced from the house. The summer calendar is full of attractive evening events taking place on the ancient squares, in the narrow streets or in the colossal Roman amphitheater.
