Two expansive covered porches with ample seating, fire pit table, and ten-person picnic table. Theater room and game room with pool table. Huge master suite with private deck. Large master bath with claw foot tub. Twenty minutes to downtown Franklin. Twenty-five minutes to Bryson City.

The Riverside Retreat was the perfect location for our extended family to gather and vacation together. The house is well appointed, roomy, and the outdoor space was perfect for spending lazy afternoons watching the river. We highly recommend!

If you are looking for a tranquil getaway, this is the perfect spot. We had an absolutely wonderful time at this riverside VRBO. The location, right on the water, is so peaceful and makes for the perfect setting for morning coffee. The house is beautiful and very clean. We all agreed it is even nicer than in the photos. The host was very easy to work with. And check in was very easy. Franklin is a charming town. We would definitely return to this place in the future.

Very nice, clean, roomy cabin. Kitchen was great and fully stocked with everything we needed to cook breakfast and a dinner. We enjoyed everything about our stay. Looking forward to staying here again.

Beautiful Property with great views! Enough room for our family to spread out. Enjoyed the outdoor seating with the fire pit and listening to the river. Would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay here. The cabin is immaculate with a gorgeous view of the river. The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating. We’ll be back for sure!

Absolutely beautiful home and stunning view. Enjoyed my stay at this amazing home. I wish it was a longer stay, but we plan to return next year since we loved it so much. Clean home and all the amenities was a plus. Our family watched the polar express together in the amazing movie room, played some pool, enjoyed a fire and took family pictures. Great family memories were made in this home. Thank you so much for being a fantastic host.

This home is beautiful and so well appointed. Our family stayed here for Christmas and it could not have been more perfect. The host had decorated it beautifully for Christmas! It is evident that a lot of thought and hard work went into planning and building this home. The host was very responsive to any messages. VRBO did not send us the access code to the property prior to arrival and I contacted the host who was quick to help out. Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The weather was perfect and 2 of our group even caught a few fish! We would definitely love to return.

1 starThe worst rental experience we’ve ever had.The place was in very poor condition when we arrived. There was a heavy spider and bug infestation throughout the interior. The master bedroom sheets had bodily fluids and hair all over them. There was trash under the beds, leftover wine still in the glasses on the racks, dusty fans, baseboards and walls, dirty showers, and the outdoor deck was completely unusable. We couldn’t use any of the upstairs at all because of the spiders and webs. My wife refused to go up there, so we were stuck in the two bedrooms and bathroom on the main floor the entire time. Two other people who were supposed to stay with us took one look at the deck and left. We ended up spending most of the trip at my brother’s cabin nearby.A cleaner came the day after we arrived and told us the house badly needed a deep clean, but that wasn’t what she was paid to do. She also agreed the deck wasn’t usable but also was not her job to clean it.When I sent the host photos, their response included the line: “the cleaner and Terminix are actually doing a really good job of keeping it clean.” I'd post more photos if I could. There was easily over 50 spiders INSIDE the house.The location and view are nice, but the property itself was completely neglected. I would not recommend staying here.

My stay was excellent, however I got sick and had to leave. The ost was so nice and understanding. The rest of the family stayed and enjoyed. The house is beautiful and had all the things we needed. Hope to come again. Thank you so much .

We had a great stay in the Riverside Retreat! Everything was just as listed. The Hot tub was very nice! The kids loved the theater room and with the Starlink WiFi we could stream our favorite movies! There was ample bed space for all our grandchildren on the first floor. The second floor had two spacious bed rooms for the two adult coulples. The third floor had a huge private master suite for me and my wife. Great fishing, swiming and tubing right out behind the house. Joseph the owner got back to us in a timely manner with any questions we had.
