Luxury Lakefront Property - 222 Feet of Lake Front

This lakefront home located on 222 feet of Lake Almanor shoreline (one of the lakes widest parcels) is available to rent for your never to be forgotten vacation. The property is adjacent to a public but secluded and largely unused beach with private access directly from the property. Rooms include: master bedroom (with king bed), Loft (with queen bed), dining room, great room, kitchen and two and ½ baths on the street level and two bedrooms (each with a queen bed), game room (with sleeper couch), laundry room and two baths on the lower level. The residence can sleep a total of 10 people. Beautiful sunsets over the lake..

Features include:

• Stainless steel, gourmet-style appliances including a commercial grade stove and commercial ice dispenser, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwaves (in kitchen and game room) and granite bar and countertop with seating for six, allowing you to prepare the biggest holiday feast.

• Elite 44" Xtrordinair wood burning fireplace enclosed within real river rock stones & hand-crafted custom mantel with plenty of firewood.

• An outdoor deck off the Great Room and Master Bedroom with propane barbeque, a patio table capable of seating up to ten people and 40 feet of bar top with bar stools to enjoy the beautiful sunsets with a refreshing drink.

• TV’s in every bedroom with satellite TV

• WiFi available throughout the house . Download speeds of up to 150mbs are achievable.

• Large game room with pool table, sleeper couch, stereo, 65” TV, dart board and plenty of games to enjoy your time after you get worn out enjoying the day on the lake.

• Spacious laundry room with washer and dryer and abundant counter tops and California-closet shelving

• Plenty of water toys including, two tandem and two single kayaks, two paddle boards, swim fins, goggles and snorkels, and plenty of life jackets.

• 10 x 15 Aluminum Dock with ladder and equipped w/PWC port ramps and two buoys

• Hot Tub that seats seven people.

• Outdoor Basketball hoop

• Dishes, pots and pans and utensiles.

Awesome place with everything you need. Responsive owner. Great to have the boat on the water for a week long trip. Also many accessories in the kitchen. All you need is food and clothes. Very much enjoyed are stay.

Beautiful property, It has all of the amenities. lots of space, great views of the west sunsets. The dock was great along with all the toys. Lots of board games. Plenty of towels and chairs to enjoy the property. The power went out and the generator was not working and so there was no water. this lasted for 4-5 hours. A few things needs to be repaired.

This home provided a great home base for our family trip. Having never been to this lake we weren’t entirely sure what to expect, but overall our time was incredible. Morning/noon boat time! Family meals, lots of sun, swimming, games & memoriesPROS of the house:Large, spacious outdoor lakefront! With plenty of seating on upper deck, lower patio & along the shoreDock!! TOYS - 2 stand up paddle boards, 4 kayaks, corn hole, pool table, football, hammock chairs, basketball, HOT TUBLarge supply of beach towels, bath towels, kitchen gadgets, Large kitchen- we cooked all but one meal inVery comfortable bedsGreat communication & instructions from ownerLarge driveway for cars & boat trailerA/C!Close (6min drive) to a boat launch Sunsets from the dock and shore!View of Mt LassenCONS (some are a personal style preference):The house is dark inside - even with lights on some rooms are quite dark including the family room, dining room & primary bedroom.The flow - we didn’t sit at the indoor dining table once b/c of how dark & separate it is.Trees - blocks a view unless you’re down on the dock or shore. Which is where we spent most of our time!A lot of stuff in this house - copious amounts of fake floral arrangements and Knick knacks that made it feel cluttered and less clean.Again, it was a great week! Beautiful Mountain Retreat

We loved out stay at the beachfront home on the East Shore of Lake Almanor. The home was extremely well stocked with every appliance, utensils and paper goods that we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. The outside decks and "beach area" were extraordinary. The inside and outside furnishing are amazing. Despite the surrounding devastation of the Dixie Fire, the East Shore was fortunately as beautiful as ever. We would cettainly rent this place again in the future.

Great location and amenities

Lovely home with a great location and almost everything you could think to bring. We loved the lakefront area, the dock, paddle boards, and the list goes on. We had more than enough room for the 6 of us. The kitchen is the best we’ve experienced and we’ve stayed in a lot of rentals. A lot to love in the Lake Almanor area! Including a couple of golf outings. Mark was promptly responsive and we had no issues requiring action while we were there. I would recommend highly.

Excellent beach, plenty of games for family

The home is absolutely beautiful and the home has amazing appliances. The decor and books to test your eyes and mind are great. There are plenty of chairs located on deck, patio and beach area. Would definitely recommend no need to bring games they have a large variety. Our family enjoyed having a pool tournament . When night time came the befs were so cimfortable. Thank you Mark.

Wonderful!

My family rented this home for the Thanksgiving holiday and had a perfect stay. We're very familiar with the area, so we understood the variability of weather in November at the Lake and loved the location on the East Shore as it is equidistant from downtown Chester, Greenville and Westwood. The home is extremely comfortable and the kitchen is especially equipped with everything we needed to prepare a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner. The view of the lake is incredible and we were lucky enough to enjoy magical sunrises and sunsets every day we were there. We're hoping to rent this home again in the future - in any season!

Lake House

I have stayed multiple times in Lake Almanor at various locations. This one was ok at best. Multiple levels and aways from the lake. The train tracks are close to the house however on the other side of the highway which is right outside the driveway of the house. Owner with prompting was more than accommodating.

We spent a week at this property. Three generations, and all had a wonderful time. Location was excellent. I have no complaints about that at all. Beds were more comfortable than expected. We all slept well. We appreciated the blackout shades in the bedrooms. Not only did it help to keep the house cool, it really helped with sleeping in. The house cap ups have been a bit cleaner for my taste, but that’s subjective. My biggest complaint was that the BBQ was so dirty we couldn’t use this. This created changes in our menu, but that was it. All in all, this was a wonderful house to have a family vacation.

Fantastic Almanor Experience

This home has everything needed to keep all ages, from grandparents to toddlers and everyone in between, busy, relaxed, active, both outdoors and indoors. It was a very hot early July ‘24, so the AC was so welcome… and is hard to find in Almanor. The three levels gave all the space we needed for comfort. The beds, linens, towels, beach towels all top notch. The private dock and sandy beach area was the biggest hit with all. Chairs, umbrellas, loungers, kayaks, kid sand toys were all there. Easy use of your Jetski and boat. Short, gentle slope to get down there. No cliffs, as we’ve had at other properties. Owner Mark was so responsive and helpful. Thank you, Mark and family for sharing your wonderful property.

Lake Life - in the Best Ever Lakefront Property

We come back to Lake Almanor every year, since living there over 30 years ago, for our family reunion with our children and grandchildren. This was a very special year for our family and I wanted the place to be perfect - and it was. From it's great secluded location on the east shore, to its amazing view of both the lake and Mt. Lassen. It had every amenity you could want, from the amazing kitchen, very comfortable bedrooms (4), bathrooms, game room, and awesome spa that sat right off the bottom patio area with a great view, fully stocked laundry room, great linens for bed and bath where also provided for all to use. The top deck right off the family room was a perfect spot for all our family meals, and enjoying wine while BBQing - again the view you faced every day was beautiful. The lake was right there with a big dock for boating, and some very fun water toys to be used by our family where included (kayaks and paddle boards including life jackets). This home provides the most amazing family vacation spot we have ever experienced, good times and good memories where made there.

A truly wonderful home and property! It reminded us of a mini resort! 3 generation trip ages 12-74! All loved this mini resort. The home is situated on a large lot which has access from three different levels! Main house with outside porch and seating and large dining table / chairs surrounded by wooden bar ledge for viewing the lake. Second level was a large spa and fire pit with seating. Third level was the sandy beach and dock. This area had several umbrellas, Adirondack chairs and loungers and 2 hammock swings. Plenty for the 9 of us to spread out. There were 3 single kayaks, and 2 paddle boards which we loved. Great fishing area. My grandson caught a wide mouth bass off the dock the first hour we were there. We highly recommend this property! We are just bummed that the time we wanted for next year has already been booked. But we will be back.PLUS - AIR CONDITIONING and comfortable BEDS! Well appointed kitchen. Thank you, Mark

Best house on Lake Almanor

This is our third year renting this house and we think it’s the best on the lake. Great location, with 2 master bedrooms and two other bedrooms. There are tons of lake and beach toys/games to use, and lots of games inside the house too. The kitchen is stocked with everything you would need, and then some!! There is a great hot tub to use after a fun day boating on the lake. We are already planning our trip for next year!!

Perfect Family Vacation Home

Absolutely loved our week at this East Shore Lake House! It has all the amenities and indoor/outdoor areas to be sure there is something for everyone to do…plenty of room for our adult children and grandchildren to hang out and relax or play games, plus large tables for dining all together! Everything was better than expected, even private access to the little public beach area next door. We thoroughly enjoyed the use of the kayaks and paddle boards, and the outdoor areas are perfect for watching kids in the water and enjoying the stunning Almanor sunsets. We are native So Californians that retired to Reno in 2015. We have friends in the Plumas County and wanted to have a retreat close buy. We purchased the home in 2017. Though we love Lake Tahoe, Lake Almanor is much less crowded and more low key.

Most lakefront properties have lot widths of about 50 to 75 feet. This lot is 222ft wide and is adjacent to a secluded and generally unused beach which is directly accessible from the property. This affords an added level of privacy in order to enjoy your vacation in a resort-like environment. There is a lot of area on the lakeside of the property to place and enjoy the outdoors. If you are a fisherman, right off the property is one of the best trout and smallmouth bass fishing spots on the lake. Just ask the tackle suppliers in town. Only a two hour and 10 min drive from Reno or three hour drive from Sacramento.
