The bathroom was very small to a point that if you are sitting on the toilet, your shoulder hits the sink. Very poor design. Strong smell of paint as we entered the apartment.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
The inside of the property was as it was pictured and clean. I would recommend guest to bring extra towels. There was only one for each person with no washer and dryer on property. Bathroom was small and could use a shelf to hold items while you are getting ready. Location was good and easy to drive into Salem. Outside of property was an eye sore. The patio that was pictured overlooked trash cans, a broken down car, weeds, discarded bed, box spring and basketball hoop. Host responded that he was trying to have neighbors remove as this is a permanent resident of the property. The hallway smelled and at times of weed. The host was responsive, overall property was not terrible, but not a place if you enjoy going outside the apartment.
This is a second-floor walk-up. It is small but makes efficient use of the space - very unique and had everything we might have needed! There were 5 of us and it was just perfect. Only a few miles/min in the car to the Wonderland Station where you can park and ride into Boston, and it’s just off the high-speed commuter line that runs from Gloucester to Boston, so you might hear that from time to time. The view from the back deck isn’t scenic, so don’t expect that. This is a residential neighborhood in where some people live full-time, interspersed with homes that are short-term rentals like this one. For a place to stay in near Boston and close to so many activities, this location can’t be beat. The host is kind, responsive, and very helpful. The decor was hilarious! Will definitely try to book this location again on our next trip East.
